1. During the latter part of the Gilded Age, a series of events and actions has been described as the Farmers’ Revolt. Explain the situation and explain what happened and why it is important to the development of the United States and how it set the stage for the Progressive Movement.
2. From the beginning of the term, there have been several themes developing including nationalism, internationalism, and on the home front, the rise of the middle class. From what you’ve learned and using plenty of examples from the course materials and readings and your research, thoroughly describe this rise of the middle class in America up to the halfway point in the course. Don’t forget to cite any and all sources you use. Remember, you must use your own words. Any use of others’ work without citation will result in a zero for the question.
