Empirical Financial Modelling – Panel Data Analysis

Use the excel Data to prepare a 1500 report which explains the relation between uncertainty and banks lending behavior by

1) Establishing a hypothesis.
2) Briefly describe the research method you intend to employ.
3) Demonstrate empirical results.

In this course work, you are expected to empirically examine the association between
uncertainty and banks’ lending behavior. Literature also suggests that both bank-specific
characteristics (e.g., size, profitability, liquidity, non-performing loans) and macroeconomic
variables (e.g., GDP growth rate; long-term interest rates). Therefore, we should incorporate
those factors when we do this research.
