This assignment will be the culmination of all your work this semester, drawing on efforts from the Book Review, Primary Source Analysis, and Unit Assignments that you have completed throughout the semester. You will need to use the analytical and rhetorical skills that we have worked on in class and in other assignments, and you will also demonstrate critical thinking skills.
You will create a 5–7-page analytical paper in which you address a research question that you have created to explore a topic related to war and peace in some way. Using primary and secondary sources, your paper will explore an aspect of war and peace that interests you to gain a greater knowledge and understanding of the topic in question and develop an informed argument about the topic that contributes to one’s understanding of the topic itself.
Your paper must be organized, well-researched, and accurately cited. The organization that you employ in this paper should be clear and logical.
You must adequately cite several external sources throughout the paper to construct your argument. To complete this assignment, you will need at least 3-4 secondary sources and 2-3 primary sources, some of which you have already collected for previous assignments. Your paper must also include a works cited page/bibliography.
Attached will be the assignments referenced in the prompt above completed so you can attempt to use the sources I have collected already. The only source that absolutely must make it in the final paper is the book: Small Town America in World War II: War Stories from Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. That along with the other sources I have collected so far are cited in the bibliography document.
