The final exam in this course is a contemporary health issue paper. We have discussed many health related topics over the semester. You will choose and research a contemporary health issue facing our society today and report/support your findings in a paper format.
Your presentation should include a brief summary of the issue(s), and a short discussion on any current events or “hot buttons” that make discussion of the issue timely.
You should explain important changes and/or controversies surrounding the selected contemporary health issue, and the potential impact on health and wellness. You are to discuss relevant risk factors, prevention techniques, and the specific components of health affected (along with any possible interrelatedness with others).
Finally, you should discuss specific applications/relationships to the field of public health, an analysis of relevant strategies currently being utilized to address the issue, and an explanation of potential alternatives that should be considered.
Your paper should include all of the following:

Submit a 3-4 page written. Your paper should be academically sound and professional, strongly supported with a minimum of two credible/academic research sources beyond your textbook, clear, objective, and engaging
