Family Assessment and Intervention Plan

For this assignment, you will complete an assessment of your family OR the family of one of your colleagues in class. The assessment will include a genogram. The genogram must include at least three generations of the family. The genogram can be hand-written, provided it is legible!
Be certain to comment on any significant or notable findings.
Based on the genogram and narrative information about the family, assess the familys functioning and develop an intervention plan for improved functioning. Here is a framework you can use to help guide your assessment: Assessment Framework for Families.docx

The paper will be 3-6 pages in length, typewritten and double-spaced, excluding the genogram and eco-map. The genogram and eco-map can be legibly hand-written and must be submitted in a format that is compact and easily transported (no large poster boards, please!).
Note: Your intervention plan must be enumerated. That is, it should look like this:
Family will have dinner together four out of seven nights per week
Couple will focus attention on their relationship by committing to one date per week without the children.
Mother will use 1-2-3 Magic technique as disciplinary strategy with children.
