Film review on “Mi Vida Loca”

Please write a (500-word minimum) film reflection about how “Mi Vida Loca: My Crazy Life” challenges gender roles and demonstrates examples of Chicana Feminism. How does this film address our community’s views on La Mujer? How do the Mujeres in this film develop their own community code to uplift themselves from under the Chicano Male domination? How does this film compare to “Blood In, Blood Out”? What are your thoughts on these two films?
You can focus on a particular scene or character from one of the films if critiquing an entire film seems too challenging. Remember, however, to use the setting (time, place, social and historical context), story (plot, point of view), major characters and actors (gender, ethnicity, class, morality, roles, stereotype), and film elements (cinematography, editing, sound) to inform your writing of your review regardless of what you focus on.
A minimum of 500 words is required, so make sure to check your word count before submitting the assignment. Grading will be based on your in-depth coverage of course material, addressing of specific concepts, and quality of reflection. Remember to look back on what we have studied so far and use that to guide you in this assignment.
Remember that this assignment is worth 15 points!
