Use one of the elements of film form you have learned about this in this class:
Genre, Mise En Scene, Cinematography, Editing or Sound
and analyze dunkirk (do not use a film you have already analyzed and please do not repeat responses from the screening questions). Employ a standard argumentative essay format, starting with a thesis statement, followed by a discussion of the thesis and ending with a summary.
Be sure to start with a clearly formulated main thesis. Without a main thesis it will be difficult to develop a coherent argument and a compelling essay.
Essay should be 3 -4 pages long, double spaced, 12 point font.
