1. In this assignment you will write a short proposal for a program of interest to you. Your response should be developed using well-written, concise paragraphs that demonstrate that your understanding of the components that need to be addressed in an actual proposal. A sample proposal and a template are available in the Additional Resources tab. Your proposal will include the components discussed in this course including:
-Specific aims/background and significance/needs and problem statement
-Target populations
-Approaches and methods
-Long- and short-term goals
-Process, outcome, and impact objectives
-Activity plans and scheduling (timeline)
-Evaluation plan
-Agency capacity and project management
-Budget and budget justification
2. In addition to writing the proposal, also write a cover letter that you would include with the submission of your proposal to a funding source (either real or fictitious)
