The idea is that you write about a possible project/ intervention that a governmentNGO could implement and which you could study and learn from it. In the IE proposal you do not have to do the research but you must develop a plan for research and motivate the reader about the worthiness of your research idea as if you are applying for funds to do your research.

It must contain:
– Introduction and motivation: Specify a relevant research question related to one of the topics andbe competently motivated (i.e. it must relate to other papers, policy debates, news articles etc thatmust be cited).
– Description of a proposed intervention is useful for answering the research question. You should also describe the context of the intervention (country/region) and why you chose this intervention and this place.
– Evaluation Design, incuding method (field, lab, natural experiment etc) and description of measurement (household survey, administrative data, etc) You must also show the main regression that you will run.
