you with an opportunity to express your own thoughts regarding an issue(s)
raised in the reading by the author(s). (2) to enhance your development of
critical thinking and self-consciousness that go beyond strict laws of academic
writing by speaking of your mind. (3) to encourage you to review information
from your own perspective and empathetically share your views with others.
Facts and lived experiences should guide your personal way of
self-understanding. You will demonstrate your writing skill development, knowledge growth
and application of social work methods
by completing this assignment.

This
is a 2-3 double-spaced paper. Times New Roman, font 12-point, and insert page
number. Cover page can be included, but no penalty is imposed if excluded;
title of the article, chapter, book, or film; author and year; student name,
course number and title, University, and date. Provide citation in the text and
references at the end of the paper regarding sources of information used.
Avoid plagiarism by citing all sources of
information. Submit your paper on blackboard in a specified drop box for
grading.

Summary
of the Reading
Select
readings from book chapters or articles not yet covered or discussed in the
classroom. The readings must relate to the topics we will cover in the
following week. The reading already discussed in the classroom is inappropriate
for a reflection paper.

its focus, major contents, implications, and conclusions.
