Select the TWO WOMEN from Late 20th Century/21st Century
select TWO women (either depictions of women in art, or woman artists) who resonate with you as a symbol of women in art in that period. For each depiction/woman artist,

Provide background and commentary of that depiction/woman artist
If you select a depiction of a woman, describe the artist, the piece of art (in detail – at least 1 paragraph, using artistic terms), and how feminism is portrayed in this depiction. If possible, describe why the artist chose to depict the woman in the piece in this way? What is the purpose or message of the piece of art? Then, connect this depiction to the time period. How is the time period reflected within the depiction? Be sure to include an image of the art, attributing it to its source in APA format.
If you select a woman artist, choose a piece of art created by that woman. Provide a brief biography of the artist, and describe the piece of art (in detail– at least 1 paragraph, using artistic terms). Then explain why the artist created this piece of art. What message is she sending? What does this art communicate about a woman’s physical, emotional, social, spiritual and cultural place within the time period it was created? Be sure to include an image of the art, attributing it to its source in APA format.
