The student is to prepare a 1500 word briefing paper for the management of a community service organisation seeking approval to prepare a submission to a current inquiry, (PUBLIC HOUSING)
The organisation can be one that the student works with, or knows of. The paper will refer to the relevant inquiry’s Terms of Reference.
The student will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the historical context of social policy in the area the organisation works in, some of the key policy initiatives which have been previously implemented and areas where changes to existing policy would benefit the clients of the organisation and society at large.
