Part 1:
Sir,
This is how he should approach the research:
Strategic resilience examined from the viewpoint of supply chain management. *Critical analysis* drilled down from organizational (SONY) to product segment(GN& S) to key product (PS 5) with accompanying data analysis.
Data collection: Secondary data.
Critical analysis of:
1. Strategy of SONY
2. COVID 19 supply chain response
Basically using literature review and critical analysis to prove Aims and Objectives in Chapter 1
Critical analysis of:
1. Strategy maintenance/alteration/change of SONY GN& S
2. SONY’s COVID 19 response in key product (PS 5) supply chain
3. Any other relevant aspect to analyze
At the end of the day we want to know
1. How the company faired strategically to established models. Was there strategic resilience displayed in PS5 success during COVID 19
2. What model did it adopt and/or should it adopt going forward
3. Does the PS5 case display Viability Supply Chain theory, is it an exemplar for the Ivanov VSC model?
Part 2:
Additional comments on capstone below(from supervisor):
1)The aims and objectives are interesting but I wonder you will be able to access secondary data to achieve all objectives? So please have a think about this.
2) With regards to method- this is really a single case study so please cover guidelines on single case study approach (inc. its limitations).
3) Also, please cover thematic analysis guidelines in methods section.

If disproving then aim &objectives etc. in Chapter 1 will change to reflect this.
No reference to PS5 despite materials I sent on it.
If he had used many of the materials I sent it would have been better off
Data, tables or graphs under critical analysis section…more writing should be done in other chapters while analysis section should have more results or analysis than write up.
In literature review, include conceptualization or illustration of key theoretical concepts.
Note: PS5 means PlayStation 5
