felt that it is a necessary to create tension in the mind so that individuals
could rise from the bondage of myths and half-truths to the unfettered realm of

gadflies to create the kind of tension in society that will help men rise from

3.Martin Luther King Jr. also invoked Thomas Jefferson. What does
he say about Jefferson and extremism? What is your opinion of MLK invoking Jefferson,

Thomas Jefferson We hold these truths to be self-evident that all
men are created equal. So, the question is not whether we will be extremists
but what kind of extremists we will be. Will we be extremists for hate or for love.
The nation and the world are un dire need of creative extremists.
4.What does John Locke say about going from the
state of nature to political society to civil society and what does he say
about monarchy in relation to civil society? Give your opinion on Lockes
