Part 1 – Narrative (approximately 300 words)
– Observe another early childhood educator or a parent/guardian interacting with an individual child or a group of children and record this using a detailed narrative observation method. Capture the interaction between the adult and the child/ren in this encounter (verbal and non verbal) and the contextual details of the environment.
*Please note: If you do not have access to children, you can source from the net a video segment as a focus of your observation and analysis (excluding the video vignettes that we use in the course and the video you used for your Learning Story Assignment).
