Book: Economics Principles for a Changing World by Eric P. Chiang 4th Edition
After reading Ch. 1
Economics is divided into Microeconomics (the parts) and
Macroeconomics (the whole). It is also divided into Positive economics
and Normative economics. Positive means just the facts, the
unemployment rate, the rate of inflation and how much weight I need to
loose. Normative means our feeling about the facts. It bring into
consideration issues such as what is right, what is just, what is fair.
Look at the files under the heading “Changing Nature of Work in
Washington State. Give me a good essay on what is right, what is
just, what is fair. Sure, show the files to your parents or kids and
get their opinion. Note, data on Hanford in up there.
