what it takes to be an effective leader

Your final assignment will be a PowerPoint
presentation that compiles everything you have learned over the past few weeks.
Imagine that you need to give a presentation on effective leadership; what
important points would you want to convey to someone else about how to be a
good leader?

I expect to see you reference many of the
articles and sources we have provided to you during this course.

First will be a presentation that compiles
everything you have learned over the past few weeks. Imagine that you need to
give a presentation on effective leadership; what important points would you
want to convey to someone else about how to be a good leader? (you can use
PowerPoint, keynote, prezi, or even adobe spark… whatever you choose, you
need to make sure it is easily accessible to your classmates and me).

Some questions to think about: What
skills/qualities/characteristics do effective leaders possess? What techniques
help them perform their leadership tasks optimally? How does communication come
in to play for effective leadership?

Your presentation should be a minimum of 10
and a maximum of 15 slides. If you like,
you can also include other multimedia (podcast, video, diagrams, etc) that
illustrates all of your points.

Note: Presentations are NOT papers. They should be written in short, bullet
form. Lengthy bullet points will result
in lost points. (You should still
provide references at the end.)
