Objective of the assignment: to learn how culture and ethnicity affect one’s musical experiences.
You must think of many additional questions of your own, but use the following questions as examples to get you started: ” What are your earliest memories about music? What did/do your parents listen to? What were your influences? How did your culture influence your musical experiences and your own present musical tastes? What kind of music do you like now? When and where did you first hear it? What is the predominant type of music enjoyed by your peer group? How important is music to you? In what ways do you use it?”
