nstructions: You are required to write a research paper on a political topic of your choosing, with 3 exceptions. Abortion, guns, and marriage are prohibited topics. Purpose of this research paper is to demonstrate your ability to utilize, incorporate, and synthesize academic peer reviewed sources. Your research paper must include an introduction of your topic, three separate body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
Requirements for the Signature Assignment:

Minimum of 1,000 words, must use 1 inch margins, double space, 12 point font, and Times New Roman;
You must cite at least 4 academic sources (i.e., academic journals);
You must use MLA as your citation format (in-text citations and works cited are required).
