Research: DC Power supply using full wave bridge rectifier

A Full wave rectifier is a circuit arrangement which makes use of both half cycles of input alternating current (AC) and converts them to direct current (DC). This process of converting both cycles of the input supply (alternating current) to direct current (DC) is termed full wave rectification.
This project will use the function generator to generate a sinusoidal AC supply the Peak voltage: 10V, Frequency: 60Hz, and DC offset: 0V
The AC input has to be converted into a proper DC voltage form, using a Full wave bridge

Rectifier to get an output within a suitable range of a 5V DC power, which can be applied for different types of devices. In addition, this project aims also at achieving an output voltage ripple less than 100 mv

In 400 words, research about:
• The project’s design and schematic.
• List of all its components (values are not necessary at this point).
• Explain the operation principle for this rectifier compared to other rectifier types.
• List the applications for this rectifier, (where this device is used in power systems).
• Make sure to reference at least two papers in APA style.
