Review of Research and Practice
This assignment requires you to explore how early intervention and prevention (EIP) programs positively impact communities, families and children (birth to 8 years) by critically analysing research and practice in an allocated area of adversity or vulnerability. You will compare how two projects influence communities’ capacities and families’ capabilities to support children’s (birth to 8 years) development, health and well-being.

There are two projects below relevant to your focus area to critically analyse and compare:
Topic (area of vulnerability): children who experience unstable housing and homelessness.
A Research Project: “Effects of a Brief Parenting Intervention In Shelters For Mothers And Their Children Experiencing Homelessness” (in the attachment)
B Practice Project: an interview is SWSLHD transition to school program, and I focus on the mental health in the program. (transcription in the attachment)
