Short Story Essay 2 Test Prompt:
All three texts in this unit take place in a world that is not quite our own. Using quotes as evidence, pick ONE of the stories from this unit to analyze the question how do the elements of science fiction help to emphasize events in our own world? You may choose to examine literary elements such as Character Development, Point of View, Setting, and/or Symbolism to develop your essay. Remember, each element must be linked to the ways sci-fi can be commentary on our own world.
Use MLA Format and follow Paragraph Expectations (see course documents) to develop your formal essay. It should be at least 800 words long with proper citation, heading, and paragraph styles.
