Please read the attached THREE documents, then choose ONE of the documents to respond to. As you are reading and writing, keep in mind what you’ve learned so far about the conquest, Spanish justification for colonization and Aztec culture and society. Who gets to decide what “civilized” actually means? Is there ever really a justification for the subjugation of an entire people group? I’d love to read your questions concerning some of these issues as you think through what you’ve read.
