This research paper is for my teachnical communication class. It’s about how wellness industry using technical communication on their online marketing. This research will focus specifically on the spa website design and layout. It will include ntroduction, research design and method, literature review, primary source analysis, and original website analysis.
In the primary source analysis, we will look at textual analysis, content analysis, and interaction and performent analysis. Prior
to your analysis, consider providing a brief description of each of the
websites and why you selected the spa industry websites in particular for your
project. You can also include front page images of each of the websites for
visual transparency.
Do
not separate paragraphs by website, but rather criteria. Instead of separating these paragraphs by website,
create criteria paragraphs where you directly compare the different websites. For example, you can have a paragraph about the font, a
paragraph about alignment, etc. Then include figures/images with annotations to
illustrate the points you are making. Here your criteria might be for content analysis: graphics, accuracy, arrangement.
These are just suggestions. But you would have one paragraph about graphics
that includes discussion of all the websites, comparing them directly to one
another.
You may also need an introductory paragraph defining
a textual analysis, content analysis, interactio and performent analysis, why you decided to do one for these websites (i.e., what
you were hoping to learn/benefits), and a brief explanation/definition of your
criteria before launching into the actual analysis portion.
Also,
don’t be afraid to pepper in “technical communication” throughout your work.
The paper should read like you are hyper-focused on analyzing the technical
communication.
You also need explanation of the star chart. So what does this
mean? Set yourself up for your creation by explaining what you have learned/compared
in creating this chart and completing your analysis.
The original spa website analysis will be the analysis part of the website that I created. It should discuss how the website addresses the issues in the primary source analysis? How is my website more effective at communication? What issues does my website address that found troubling in the primary sources analysis? How does my website address them? In this paper, you may carefully and sparingly use the first-person voice (“I”).
