For this week’s discussion we will be exchanging ideas on the film “The History of the World in Two Hours”. If you haven’t done so by now, please be sure to watch the two films above. The first film you should watch is “Pre-History” Versus “History”, followed by “The History of the World in Two Hours”.
While watching the film(s) I would like for you to keep these questions in the back of your mind to be answered in the discussion board.
1. According to the videos, how are archaeologists able to accurately depict how old something is? If you don’t believe this method is a solid way to prove these ideas please tell us why and back it with some source information. (I like people who think outside the box)
2. “The History of the World in Two Hours” takes very strong stances on many subjects i.e. age of the earth, age of humans, origins of humans, origins of life, etc…. Do any of these ideas seem skeptical to you? If so, try to find outside source information that may contradict the film’s stance on that particular topic.
The response should be roughly 275 words.
