Reflect on an example of this in your own life — this might be something that you once believed to be “normal” because you saw it modeled on television. Or, it might be a choice you’ve made to deliberately model a new normal for yourself or your children. (For example, I regularly make sure my young daughter and son watch shows that feature women in professional careers in STEM fields…thank you, PBS Kids!) It might be something else entirely.
