I would like you to discuss how stratification and social class impact urban and suburban spaces. How have people lives been altered by this? Next, I would like you to include race, ethnicity and gender in your discussion and explain the main points discussed in Chapter 11. Elaborate on what race, ethnicity and gender have to do with urbanization. How has “in-group/out-group” status impacted the lives of people in the city? How does this increase your understanding of how urban space has been delegated and how opportunities, lifestyles, and the well being of many have been altered due to these structural conditions.
