In module 5, we explore a couple of articles and a podcast episode related to the ways in which work is shifting in the U.S. as a result of the pandemic. Use a sociological viewpoint to discuss what is taking place, and why. Be sure to apply concepts from the chapter and videos as you do so, and draw on any additional resources that speak to these issues in your discussion. Remember that individual stories here are anecdotal evidence of a larger pattern we’re seeing. How would/do sociologists explain these patterns? What factors besides the pandemic are influencing the changes taking place? Have you also been impacted by these changes in your work?
