Contact three people at your school or office who use information systems. Analyze their positions, the information they need, and identify the systems they use and the business functions they perform. What improvements could be made to make the systems serve their needs more effectively?
Visit at least three websites to learn more about agile systems development. Prepare a list of the sites you visited and give a summary of the results. Using an example of a systems project you may have experience with, or one from your own research, discuss which aspects of the effort might be best served by Agile approaches, and which might not.
Visit a job posting site like Indeed.com. Look for Systems Analysis and Design jobs, or similar types of jobs in your area. Summarize the most frequent job qualifications and responsibilities. Relate this to your BSIT program and/or your personal career goals.
