All three composers were widely successful opera composers during their lifetime, and their works are still produced around the world to this day. Each composer has their own unique style, which is highlighted in the textbook. As listeners we tend to pick favorites, which composer are you siding with and why?
Before answering this question, go back and review the works by each composer, particularly in Chapter 18.
In your initial post, select a composer and give a specific description of plot, character development, and elements of music from one or more of their operas. Use the textbook for reference. You may also search the web for help in your description (always cite your sources!). Explain why your composer is your favorite.
