County Governments: Write a four-paragraph essay describing county governments in the United
States. In the first paragraph, give a description and the history of county governments. In the
second paragraph, identify the roles played by county governments. In the third paragraph,
summarize how counties are funded, and in the fourth paragraph, describe the forms of county
governments. Each paragraph should be at least three complete sentences long. Make sure to use
correct spelling and grammar.
