Write a paragraph that summarizes the author’s ideas about the story or its author.

Directions: For each of the four sources you found in the previous assignment (i.e. two sources on each of the short stories you have chosen), do the following
STEP 1) Summarize
For each article, write a paragraph that summarizes the author’s ideas about the story or its author. In some case, you may not need to summarize the entire article, but only the section that deals with your story.
STEP 2) Reaction
Find at least two statements within each article (eight statements in total) that make a notable or interesting point. For each statement, provide an exact quote from the article, followed by a page citation. Then explain, in at least a few sentences, how each statement does one of three things:
a) Supports a point that you plan to make in your paper
b) Makes a point that contradicts a point you plan to make in your paper
c) Offers a point that you had not considered.
