Write an analysis of how the advertisement attempts to persuade its audience.

Aristotle believed that persuasion could be brought about by the speaker’s use of persuasive appeals. These classical persuasive appeals or “proofs” are referred to as ethos, pathos, and logos. Effective persuasive arguments often make use of all three of these appeals. Read more about the classical persuasive appeals in this week’s reading and follow the prompt below to complete the assignment.
Prompt
Find an advertisement that you deem to be interesting and that has a persuasive aim. By interesting, I mean that the ad in question should have some sophistication about it. There is no point in analyzing the obvious. Complete the following….
Provide a link or copy of the advertisement you are analyzing in your submission.
Provide a brief description of the visuals and stylistic devices used in the ad. For example, color schemes, fonts, images, characters, and other visual components.
Write an analysis of how the advertisement attempts to persuade its audience. Explain how rhetorical devices such as ethos, pathos, and logos are used in the advertisement. For example, if the advertisement uses pathos, discuss how it does this and what emotions it plays with.
If you have a hard time finding one advertisement that uses all three devices (ethos, pathos, and logos), you can use two advertisements, or even one for each.
