Last week, you completed the Research Project Brainstorm.
For this Short Written Assignment, you are going to draft a proposal for your research project. Drawing from your initial brainstorm, write an initial explanation of the topic you will be investigating. Be sure to include what you already know, but also what questions you have that you will be hoping to answer. If you already have sources, or plan on using readings or viewings from class as sources, include those as well. This is an informal research proposal, so “I” statements are okay to use.
Guidelines:
1. Clearly articulate the project topic
2. Be 1-2 pages or approximately 250-300 words
3. Quote and Cite from course material- if applicable
4. Include a Bibliography entry for all cited sources, including those used in the course- if applicable
