education. I conducted an interview with Doctor Sue Ellspermann. Dr. Ellspermann is the president of Ivy Tech in Indianapolis Indiana.

The purpose of the study is to investigate how college and university presidents
perceive the multiplicity of roles they are called upon to fulfill. Specifically, you will
explore with a president how she functions as educator, CEO, and political leader on
her campus. Following Birnbaum’s (1988, 1992) concept of cognitive complexity,
you will explore how a president uses (or does not) use multi-frame thinking (i.e.
Bolman & Deal, 2017/2021). Additionally, you will assess the leadership style of the
president based upon the theories/historical underpinnings presented in Birnbaum
(1988, 1992), Kouzes and Posner (2019), and Cole (2020).
The text of your paper should not exceed twenty double-spaced pages, excluding references and appendices.
Please use a minimum of ten (10) references from the required and outside readings to connect the theory to data collected as well as use the material for the recommendation/implication section.
