To receive a good grade on the final draft, make sure it:
Has a clear and specific thesis statement, which addresses one of the possible essay topics, in the introduction paragraph
Contains three or four total causes/effects, with one cause/effect per body paragraph
Has 1,000 or more words in the paragraphs of the essay
Quotes from one total source, which makes up 10% or less of the entire essay
Contains appropriately-placed parenthetical citation(s) and a works cited page entry for the one source
Is formatted correctly in MLA
Contains Standard English grammar, syntax, diction, spellings, etc.
Is saved as a single Microsoft Word attachment with the file extensions .doc or .docx only and is viewable under the “Assignment Instructions” section of the dropbox
Is uploaded by the end of that week
