What is Identity?
Identity is the qualities, beliefs, personality, looks and/or expressions that make a person
–Self-identity is part of psychology… who you are, how you see yourself
–Collective identity is part of sociology… how you identify and how others see you as part of particular groups (i.e., nation, social class, race, culture/sub-culture, ethnicity, gender, employment)
–Attributes of identity can be defined as positive (i.e., helpful or affirming) or negative (i.e., harmful or destructive)
–Identity is fluid; it is not fixed; many factors contribute to forming a person’s identity; these factors can be either common or unique
Consider all of this information when thinking
of Baldwin’s quote and preparing your argument.

Forensic Psychology-Juvenile Transfer: Do The Crime, Do The Time
Question?
When I was a police officer in the 1980s and later a Forensic Psychologist beginning in the 1990s, there was significant reform in the juvenile and criminal justice systems throughout the United States. The goal was to allow for more frequent prosecution of juveniles in adult criminal courts. This reform was primarily motivated by the perception that juvenile crimes have increased—and become more serious. Consequently, as a result, a “get tough” approach was adopted to decrease the rate of juvenile offending. Regrettably, one aspect of this was the “do the crime, do the time” philosophy which created ways where adolescent (those under 18 years old) offenders could be transferred (also called certified or waived) into the adult criminal court system. The criteria vary by state, but the most important are public safety, treatment needs, amenability, and sophistication-maturity. Explain treatment needs and amenability and sophistication-maturity.

Then, choose any company, product, or service that you regard as being creative and innovative. Research that company (for example, look at their vision and mission statements, press releases, or articles written about them in the media) and identify the following:
at least 2 tie-ins with the Blue Ocean Strategy case and describe why you think they are related,
at least 2 items or events that led to their creative innovation and why, and
at least 2 factors that differentiate them from their “red ocean” competitors and elaborate on these differences.
The objective of this assignment is to apply what you have learned in the module to the Blue Ocean Strategy Your submission should make this connection clear and demonstrate what you have learned in the module.

pros and cons of windmills
Perspective on writing pro/con assignments, we will write about the pro and con of using a product.
When you write about the “pro” of a product, you focus on one reason that supports that product. When you write about the “con” of a product, you focus on one reason that goes against that product.
You can write one paragraph about the “pro” of using the product and one paragraph about the “con” of the product.
