Titrametric Analysis

In the abstract, state which unknown you were assigned (either A or B) and then its chemical identity (e.g., acetic acid). In the data analysis section,
1. Use the titration curve to establish the precise equivalence volume to +/- 0.1 mL:
1. plotting volume of titrant vs the pH,
2. plot the first derivative of the pH (Delta pH) vs volume of titrant within +/- 1.0 mL of the equivalence volume (i.e., where pH was taken more frequently with respect to volume changes), and
3. plot of the second derivative of the pH (Delta (Delta pH)) vs volume of titrant over that same +/- 1.0 mL volume.

2. If you recall Calculus A/B, the equivalence volume occurs at (1) a local maximum in the 1st derivative plot that (2) is also an inflection point in the 2nd derivative plot (i.e., where the slope crosses the x axis).
3. Using the equivalence volume, you can then convert this to moles of the unknown using the concentration of the titrant.
4. Finally, as you have the mass of each sample, you can divide the mass by the moles to get the molar mass of the unknown.
5. From the list on the first page of the experiment, please pick out the acid or base that most closely aligns with this molar mass. This is the identity of your unknown.
6. Please do this analysis for both trials and include all six charts in the report.

If your molar mass lies somewhere between values listed on the first page of the experiment, what are some potential errors that could account for the discrepancy?

Day and life of a special education teacher and students

Submit via an attachment an 8-page paper, first person, fictionalized, narrative about a student with disabilities going through his/her day at school day and some issues the student might have. The second half of the paper, the professional takes on the role the student’s teacher and writes about how s/he would work with that student in his/her classroom.
Minimum of 8 pages and double-spaced. Size 12 Times New Roman font used with 1″ margins (top, bottom, left and right). No grammatical, spelling or punctuation errors. Story contains many creative details and descriptions that make story interesting and realistic. All facts presented in story are accurate. Information clearly relates to main topic. Includes several supporting details and examples.

Reading Discussion 6: THE GRAPHIC NOVEL

You were asked to read the introduction and the first four chapters of Marjane Satrapi’s graphic novel Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood. In the 20th century, the term “graphic novel” has come to mean a narrative work (very often fiction, but also nonfiction as well) that tells its story in images, i.e. comic-strip-type pictures. Unlike the comic strip, it is not a serial publication but is instead published in book form.
Persepolis is in fact a work of fiction in graphic form, but it clearly relies heavily on Satrapi’s own personal, cultural, political, and historical experiences. The novel is based upon allusions that Satrapi makes to Iranian political history.
Please share your perceptions of the novel in response to this discussion thread:
What did you like? What did you not like? Was there any portion of the first few chapters that you did not understand? How effective were Satrapi’s drawings in communicating some of her key points about Iranian political history? Is there anything else you’d like to share about this work?

Recommendation

Please read the attachemt on Amazon . I need Recommendations and Project Roles

In this course, we will learn the four phrase of information systems analysis and design: system planning, system analysis, system design, and system implementation. Since this is an information systems analysis and design course, topics on technology will also be covered.
To put what we have learned into practice, you are to assume the role of an IT project manager, and work on a 8-week long project consisting of four assignments with a due date of every other week. The following is the first of the four assignments.
Meet with your team members and choose one corporation/company/organization that your team will work on, it could be a corporation/company/organization that you work for, you are familiar with, or read about. In this assignment, you are to prepare a preliminary report which has the following format:
Introduction
Systems request summary
Findings
Recommendations
Project roles
Time and costs estimates
Expected benefits
Appendix
The report should contain the background information of the organization, e.g., mission statement, role of IT in the organization, SWOT analysis of organizational products/services, any problems or opportunities that needs to be addressed in the organization etc. You can use pseudo name to keep the organization confidential.
The maximum length of the report is 10 pages, single spaced. Please include names of all your team on cover page. Submit one copy only for each team.

Summary essay

In addition to the 2 assigned readings, you must find an article of your own. The article you choose should be an experimental study of the neuroanatomical/physiological aspects of addiction. This article must be a PEER REVIEWED SCHOLARLY ARTICLE, with a publication date of no earlier than 2017.
Your paper should summarize the major findings of all 3 articles (2 assigned and 1 chosen). It should also include a description of the known “reward area” in the brain (including names and neurotransmitter used).
Your paper should be no more than 1000 words (4 pages, double spaced 12 pt font), no less than 500 (2 pages).

The intersection of memory and aesthetic in contemporary art: an exploration of how contemporary artists engage with memory through aesthetic forms.

Please write this paper based on the prospectus!
PAPER: You must write a final paper, as a form of critical “meditation,” on one (or more) case study artworks or exhibitions covered in class. This paper must also address, in depth, 2 -3 texts covered in class. Only one text may be from the same week as the case study. The idea is to reflect upon a combination of artworks and texts covered over the entire 10 weeks of our class. Your questions are prompts for you to return to the artworks/exhibitions/texts and dig deeper on what you initially found interesting. Please reference the Chicago Manuel of Style for footnotes etc.

PROSPECTUS:
Topic: The intersection of memory and aesthetic in contemporary art: an exploration of how contemporary artists engage with memory through aesthetic forms.

Ideas: This paper will engage with the works of contemporary artists who use aesthetic forms as a way to explore memory, history, and the politics of representation. Specifically, it will focus on the works of Mona Hatou, William Kentridge, and Kara Walker, who use different aesthetic forms such as installation, drawing, and video to reflect on themes related to memory.

Argument: This paper will argue that contemporary artists are using aesthetic forms to create new ways of engaging with memory, history, and the politics of representation. By examining the works of Hatoum, Kentridge, and Walker, it will demonstrate how these artists use aesthetic forms to reflect on the ways in which memory is constructed, preserved, and transmitted. Furthermore, the paper will explore how these works challenge traditional modes of representation and bring attention to marginalized histories and narratives.

Overall Question: How do contemporary artists use aesthetic forms to engage with memory, history, and the politics of representation?

Assigned Readings:

Hannah Arendt, “Thinking and Moral Considerations,” Responsibility and Judgement.

Hans-Gerog Gadamer, “Aesthetics and Hermeneutics,” The Gadamer Reader: A Bouquet of Later Writings.

Juli Carson, “Aesthetics of an Untethered Past,” The Hermeneutic Impulse: Aesthetics of an Untethered Past.

Case Study Artwork/Exhibition:

Mona Hatoum’s “Measures of Distance”

William Kentridge’s “Drawing Lession 1”

Kara Walker’s “A Subtlety”

These readings and case studies will provide a framework for exploring the intersection of memory and aesthetics in contemporary art.

This paper will also explore how these works challenge traditional modes of representation and bring attention to marginalized histories and narratives. Ultimately, this paper will argue that the use of aesthetic forms to engage with memory has the potential to create new ways of understanding the past and its relationship to the present.Topic: The intersection of memory and aesthetic in contemporary art: an exploration of how contemporary artists engage with memory through aesthetic forms.

Application Exercises

The idea behind this exercise is to get you to apply anthropological topics and terminology to a specific context of social behavior & cultural categories. The more anthropological terms you are able to correctly apply, the more credit you receive. The specific case to which you’ll be applying class material will a fictional world i.e. movie or tv show. This can involve multiple episodes of one show or multiple movies from one franchise. The film/show can also be in a language other than English – but in this case, please ensure there’s an English language summary of I that I can find online (provide a link).
