Analytic Essay based on the set article and any one of the other 3, see desc.

Hello, thank you so much for helping me out.
Ill attach all the files necessary to do this essay, including the rubrics it is supposed to fill out.

The basic idea is that there is a prompt question to answer and you MUST use the article by Stout and one other article of choice, only two max with the one being preselected. You can choose whichever best fits the analytic argument you might come up with.

A couple rules:
You can only use the quotes from the two articles, nothing from the outside.
You can make real life connections, but only if it works to strenghten the argument.

Everything else is fair game. You can go as wild as you’d like with the argument you will be making. The big thing about this analytic essay is it cannot dwell in summary or comparison. In other words, it has to create connections or state things that are not already stated in the text. It needs to be a unique position. When you do use the quotes, do some close reading and make that interesting connection that isnt fully obvious to a reader.

Ive included the prompt, all 4 articles (stout, which is one you WILL be using, and the other 3 which you have the choice to choose from), and ill also include past essays so you may see the direction of the paper and examples of the analytic style. Sorry if there is a lot included here, but Im just trying to make sure you have everything you might need.

Also do not worry about the works cited, and for anytime you use a quote use this format: (Stout 123).

USING A PRACTICE-LEVEL LOGIC MODEL TO FOCUS INTERVENTIONS AND ACHIEVE DESIRED OUTCOMES

While they may be more broadly used to analyze programs, logic models can also be applied in practice, when considering clients’ presenting problems and potential interventions. If you think back to your work earlier in the course with Tiffani, Jake, or Paula, how did you go about determining the intervention based on the problems and needs? Did you see a logical connection in your mind between those elements?

Logic modeling can help to make these connections explicitly clear. For example, perhaps you identify one problem as distrust between parent and adolescent. You observe that the need is a greater sense of trust, and that the underlying causes are history of abusive situations enabled by the parent, history of adolescent lying, and no model of healthy, trust-based parent-adolescent relationship. The intervention, then, might be family therapy to work through the history that has affected trust in the relationship. It might also include parenting classes on repairing a parent-teen relationship. The threads that weave through all of these elements are trust and relationship.

In this Discussion, you create a practice-level logic model of your own, based on the problems and needs that you identified last week.

Review the Learning Resources on the logic model, including the Logic Model Table document. (attached below)
Consider the problems and needs that you identified last week and how those needs might be met by evidence-based interventions applied with clients.
Post a completed logic model (in table format) for a practitioner-level intervention based on the problems and needs that you identified last week. Be sure to link the areas across the table.
In the table, describe the types of problems, the client needs, the underlying causes of problems and unmet needs. Then describe interventions that would lead to a change in the presenting conditions. Identify the short- and long-term outcomes that you think would represent an improved condition.
Follow the table format with 1 to 2 paragraphs that elaborate on your practice-level model outline and cite resources that inform your views.

The representation of female characters in Butler’s translation of the Odyssey: a corpus-based approach

The topic is in the field of literary studies, linguistics and, more specifically Translation Studies. The stylesheet is provided in the attached file, unfortunately it is in Italian but it can be assumed by the examples provided. The text must be written in .docx format, Garamond font (single spacing; body size 12 for text and 10 for notes). In-text references must be placed in footnotes in short form (see attachment) and listed in complete form in the refrences section at the end of the article (please use as many references as required, included those in the abstract below). Max characters (spaces included, references excluded): 40,000.

This is the abstract of the paper

In The Authoress of the Odyssey (1897) Samuel Butler developed a notably controversial intuition about the poem’s author. In his analyses, he concluded that the Iliad and the Odyssey cannot have been created by the same person: whilst the former was certainly written by the Greek male poet Homer, the latter should be regarded as a companion piece to the Iliad and was instead the work of a “young, headstrong, and unmarried” woman (as the title to his chapter VII phrases it) from Magna Graecia, more precisely Trapani, Sicily. This theory rested upon his assumption that female characters in the Odyssey are favourably portrayed whereas there is a relative disregard for male characters. Butler’s prose translations of the Iliad and the Odyssey became highly successful and are still consulted nowadays; however, his views on the authorship of Homer’s works were severely criticised back then. The purpose of this paper is to explore to what extent Butler’s theory impacted on his translation of the Odyssey by analysing his translation strategies; to this end, an approach combining corpus linguistics (Maci & Sala 2022), corpus stylistics (Simpson 2004, Mahlberg 2013) and translational stylistics (Boase-Beier 2014) will be adopted as the research design for this study. Week 4 Spark: Water scarcity on a water world?!
Hi Everyone!
This week we take a close look at water, its importance, it use, and its abuse! To get discussion rolling please consider a brief (2+ paragraph) response to one of the following Spark prompts.
If you notice that a particular question has been well addressed please move to a different question… otherwise this component of discussion can become stale and less useful in preparing you for the exams.
Also please enter a descriptive phrase in the subject line of your post so that people will know which spark prompt you are addressing. Thanks for understanding!
1) Describe how water scarcity impacts human health globally. What populations of people are facing the biggest challenges due to water scarcity or pollution?
2) Describe how consuming energy or electricity also impacts our water supplies? A great resource for this question is here:
