You will be submitting a list of 10 sources for your final theory paper. This is worth 10 points (1 per citation).

These sources will be used in your paper and in-text/bibliography citations should match. Make sure you include Berger and Luckmann both in the text and bibliography. “Social Constructionism and Beauty

Social construct implies the concepts which have been shaped and accepted by the individuals in a society. I choose the topic of beauty and how it relates to social constructionism. Although beauty is a physical connotation, beauty is a flexible human element that creates an emotionally innate identity of people fashioned by social constructs and interaction, fashioning it a topic of manipulation to meet the demand of various cultures or groups (Kuipers & Ghedini, 2021). Thus, beauty is a social construct since it is founded on the societally accepted concepts entrenched into our minds and systems over an extended period and has been acknowledged as the standard. These concepts of beauty gradually become implanted into our psyches on a fundamental level and impact how we function. There is a bi-directional association with societal influences encompassing businesses, media, government, marketing, and other institutions (Kuipers & Ghedini, 2021). These influences impact young people’s behavior, cosmetics, appearance, and clothing. Beauty can and does not get altered from one culture to another, from individual to individual, and from place to place. It is established through patterns, desires, wants, products, and trends of society (Kuipers & Ghedini, 2021). It is influenced physically by pheromones and physical attractions, indicating that beauty is a social construction.

What are the questions you might ask to better ascertain facts of matter?

Hello,

This is the question that will need to be answered:

You have been hired by a large mortgage company to bolster outreach to the low/moderate income demographic within the organizations multi-state geographic footprint. The organization is concerned about disparate impacts that might violate the laws protecting against discrimination based on sex, race, age, and source of income

The mortgage company has organized a meeting with representatives of various underserved communities. These representatives include members of the Black and Hispanic communities, retired persons, parties receiving Section 8 housing vouchers and the LGBTQ community.

What are the questions you might ask to better ascertain facts of matter?
What possible redress might you suggest?
How will you measure the effectiveness of any actions?

I will attach ppt slides to assist with this question. Please let me know if you have any questions. I will attach ppt slides to assist with this question. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hello Everyone,
Week 10’s video explains the final project, expectations for final Field Hours submission, and other end-of-course information. Please make sure you watch it before beginning work this week. I highly recommend getting started early and not waiting until the weekend, as the course end date is 3/26 and there is no work accepted after that time without prior arrangement.

Thank you,
Eric

5 page essay on Tattooed Soldier by Hector Tobar

Respond to the following prompt in a clear and coherent essay of at least 5 pages. Remember to include a controlling thesis statement that answers the essential question asked by the prompt. Include an introduction and clear topic sentences that support your thesis. In your essay, use quotes from at least three sources to help support your main point. Remember to format your essay according to the MLA and include a works cited page.

The Tattooed Soldier by Hector Tobar tells the story of two Guatemalan men whose past is intertwined and whose lives eventually collide when they meet in Los Angeles. The novel explores each of the man’s motivations as it recounts their acts leading up to one man’s revenge. On the surface, one man appears to be the aggressor and the other the victim. For the next essay, you must compare and contrast Antonio Bernal and Guillermo Longoria and respond to the following question.

1. Which of the two characters embodies evil the most and why? Consider each of the characters’ motivation, intentions and actions. Think critically about what drives them to commit the acts that they commit and whether or not they feel any remorse. Analyze the quotations that you provide as evidence and explain how they support your main point and claims.

Guidelines

In your introduction:

1. Capture the reader’s attention with a clear, direct and interesting opening sentence.

2. Briefly summarize the novel.

3. Provide a thesis that answers the prompt question and provides rationale that you can support in your body paragraphs.

In each body paragraph:

1. Your topic sentences must each reflect one reason to support your thesis.

2. You must cite at least 4 quotations from the novel as evidence. Be sure to use the evidence to clarify or support your explanation, linking it back to the topic sentence. When you cite, be sure to give appropriate context and provide a signal phrase.

In your conclusion:

1. Along with summing up your points, explain why it is important to understand the character that you focus on more completely.

**** Footnote to the writer:
This essay has to be personalized while writing the essay when you get to part on whos more evil between Antonio and Longoria, you have to back up that claim from a source or article that has to do with a wife and son whos murdered. This guy can be more evil due to ptsd depression. his way of thinking is off now. his life was turned due to killing of wife and kid. or is longoria more evil because he was force to join the military and get trained to kill people for his country. Make sure that when you make the argument on whos more evil, use articles to back up your claim. Like ptsd is cognitive disorder from being brainwashed and living a lifestyle that they only new. Revenge

Compare and Contrast – Hanesbrands and Fruit of the Loom

The CEO of your organization (Hanesbrands) has asked you to write what you have learned so far so he can convince the Governing Board that you are more than worthy of the hefty consultant fees you are receiving. You have paid me part of your fees to help you get started. Given that, write a 4- 6 page comparison and contrast paper on your organization (Hanesbrands) and at least one other similar organization within the industry (Fruit of the Loom). This paper is designed to help you recognize similarities and differences between organizations, which will position you for the final payment from the CEO.

– Provide no less than a ½ page and no more than a 1 page executive summary as the first page of your paper. (The executive summary should guide the organization of the rest of your paper, e.g., Hanesbrands initial industry analysis to Fruit of the Loom.
– Provide tables and/or graphs in appendices to illustrate key comparisons in areas such as financials, major differences in personnel and key leader organizational structure, etc.
– Resist internal biases and provide statements/facts supported by literature. For example, do not provide just positive input for your organization from your organizations’ website. Similarly, do not find only negative input from a critic of your comparative organization.
– Include thesis statement and conclusion

Papers are graded on your analysis of the particular topic, the coherence of and research support for the argument, and originality.

Response Papers: The response papers are an opportunity to demonstrate your understanding of the readings, lectures, and discussions. You are required to rely heavily on the assigned readings and are encouraged to draw upon your own knowledge, material/ideas from other classes, items in the news, etc. Papers are graded on your analysis of the particular topic, the coherence of and research support for the argument, and originality. The limited word count is meant to train you in keeping your thoughts, questions, and arguments concise, a skill which is often required in academic work, grant writing, and report writing.
General formatting: Your paper must be double-spaced. Use a standard type face or font, in a standard size, with standard margins (for example, Calibri or Times New Roman, size 10-12). Justify only the left margin, and indent paragraphs without extra blank lines between paragraphs. Citations are on a separate page. A title page is not necessary. Style requirements: I accept APA, Chicago, or MLA. Rubric posted on Nexus. I am not strict about word count if you go OVER the limit – within reason. Aim for 600-800 words.

I have also provided a draft document of our group for this assignment, so please refer to the work of other group members.
