Write a reflection about what you have learned in this module. Your reflections should include (1) your opinion, (2) personal experience, and (3) evidence to back up your thoughts and/or opinion (APA citation). The purpose of this assignment is to ensure you are processing your thoughts on the course content. This will enhance your learning and knowledge. Your posts in the discussion area should exhibit careful thought and logical reasoning and provide evidence for your position. Each post should be at least one well-developed paragraph (approximately 4-6 sentences or more, unless otherwise indicated). Use correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
You are also required to read and reply to other students (at least 2), as indicated in each discussion assignment.
Your replies should offer new substantiated ideas or thoughtful questions.
I encourage friendly debate and disagreement but ask that it be courteous and respectful. Do not be afraid to speak your mind, but remember that yours is only one opinion.

IT Project

** My company is Mercury Insurance**

https://www.mercuryinsurance.com/resources/investor-information/AR/Mercury-General-Corp-Annual-Report-2020.pdf

I want to focus on the Guidewire implementation and work from home technologies

For this module, you will continue your description and assessment of your chosen organization. At minimum, address these important descriptive and analytic questions, providing enough information to assure clarity:
Describe and discuss the organization from the perspective of its current (unclassified) IT operating technology infrastructure (or the IT technology it provides its internal or external customers). Discuss its technology deployment, effectiveness, and contribution to organizational or customer success. Also discuss dominant IT strategies and tactics.
Describe and discuss technological barriers to, as well as circumstances which may foster continued IT success and organizational contribution.
In particular, you may wish to add what you consider the most immediate and important IT or IT management change you would cause to be undertaken as the newly appointed CIO or IT unit senior manager. Please note what, why, and how.
Consider yourself a corporate or military senior IT manager (Director/Senior Director/VP-CIO or military equivalent) in your chosen project organization. You have been mandated by the top executives (or military equivalents) to initiate a new organization-wide IT upgrade project (you may choose your own). You agree with this decision, its purposes, and the technology involved. You see this assignment as finally getting your long-sought mandate for improvement that will substantially leverage organizational performance.
And yet, significant IT changes have not always been welcomed within your organization. In fact, your most recent attempt, which had much less profound change, developed some significant resistance. This time you have decided that you and your unit must do considerable preliminary work to pave the way, gain support for, as well as reduce resistance to, this new and vital effort. Obviously, you could plow forward using executive mandate. However, your MSITM coursework has suggested that IT change has its best chance for success when it considers the system and is a carefully developed, initiated, and managed process. Provide a very brief description of your intended improvement project. However, note that this case segment is 95% about the processes of planned change. Your discussion of the IT upgrade must primarily focus on your insight into and a viable process for bringing off this planned change. Detail the what, how, and why of each step you intend to take to ensure this project is accepted and gets accomplished. It is not enough to note that the project has senior approval. In both the military and corporate worlds, project implementation can be given lip service and never fully accepted.

In all of this, you will need to reflect on your description and analysis (and perhaps adjust it accordingly) to ensure that you are able to integrate insight and learning from previous classes (and other sources as fits the circumstances). This means at least five contiguous academically sound citations and later full references. Use enough concurrent discussion so that the purpose of each citation is apparent to the reader. Note that this paper is incomplete without five academically sound references.
You will be assessed on the appropriateness and completeness of the detail you provide regarding your selected organization, your use of citations and references as noted above, and your intellectual insight into topically important issues. You will also be assessed on how well you adhere to the specific Capstone Case Guidelines provided to you.
This is a draft, so if you need to make educated guesses at this stage, that is fine for now. Your paper should be at least four, if not more, double-spaced pages when finished. The issue in these case papers is not brevity; rather it is insight and completeness in dealing with the topic(s).
Note that you are expected to use correct grammar, spelling, and English vocabulary. Check your paper for missing or inappropriately used words. If in doubt, check the dictionary and not ‘spell check.’ Consider that this paper, and all others, will be reviewed by the CIO and/or your commanding officer. It is strongly suggested that you ask a trusted colleague to review and edit each of your papers. Papers which do not meet these guidelines will be returned to you.
Post your paper once it is completed.

Write a brief paragraph interpreting these z-scores (e.g., how each individual did in relation to the class in terms of the mean and standard deviation of the z-score distribution (not the raw score mean and SD) the percentile the participant would fall into).

Week 3 Project
Final Project
Use the appropriate descriptive statistics from W2 Project or run new descriptive statistics for Recall1 using Microsoft Excel.
Assuming that the sample statistics you computed are exactly equivalent to the corresponding population parameters, and using the formula X = (±z)(sd) + M (see below) identify the following:
The exact score on Recall1 that would fall at the upper 5% cutoff (extremely high score?) (Be sure to use the formula given below and round to two decimal places)
The exact score on Recall1 that would fall at the lower 5% cutoff (extremely low score?) (Be sure to use the formula given below and round to two decimal places)
To find these hypothetical scores, solve for X (your raw score) using the following formula, and round to two decimal places:
X = (±z)(sd) + M, where

z = The z-score cutoff for 5 percent in the tail (±1.645)

sd = Your sample standard deviation for Recall1

M = Your sample mean for Recall1
Use Microsoft Excel to compute z-scores for Recall1, following the instructions given in your lecture. Copy the table below into your Microsoft Word document, and complete the table, indicating the appropriate z-scores corresponding to each of the participants whose score is given.

Protests and organization

For this paper, I would like you to trace the history of one of the following themes to provide context for a modern event.
In your analysis, I would like you to trace the narrative history of the topic you have selected and analyze any patterns of change over time that you interpret. Explain how this historical narrative provides context for a modern event of historical importance.
Only use given class materials (textbook, discussion, PowerPoint videos, and/or supplemental videos/podcasts) to support your essay. I do not want you to do outside research, but instead, use the assigned work you have already completed.
If you would like to cite a contemporary resource to discuss a modern event, you may do so, but make sure to include it on your works cited page.
If you have any questions about the viability of your topic, or if you want to show me your thesis statement, please email me.
If you want me to look at an outline of your paper or a complete/incomplete draft, please also email me to set that up – but make sure to give me enough time.
Requirements:
2-3 COMPLETE pages
Double-spaced, with only one space between the title and the first sentence
1-inch margins all around
Times New Roman font, 12 point
MLA Format
Parenthetical citations (American Yawp, p. 23), (Lecture #13), etc.

Demonstrate an understanding of the general principles associated with statistical applications.

Week 5
Print
Last week, you learned to edit Microsoft Excel output.
This week, you will compare between- and within-subjects variables. You will also learn how these variables affect the way you set up Microsoft Excel data files.
Let’s begin by talking about two different types of variables that you will be working with in the coming weeks. You will then focus on these research designs and how data entry differs for them—how a between-subjects design differs from a within-subjects design.
Your Learning Objectives for the Week:
At the end of this week, you should be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of the general principles associated with statistical applications.
Engage in appropriate inquiry (i.e., statistical procedure) regarding a psychological issue through computer-based application (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
Demonstrate an understanding of the purpose and process of deriving inferential statistics (e.g., z-scores, t-scores, and probability) through practical application.
Engage in hypothesis testing (e.g., null) through experimentation.
Engage in the appropriate procedures for establishing and maintaining a database.

Research Designs
Researchers were interested in learning the effects of trans fats on levels of cholesterol in the blood. Two different research designs were constructed.
Between-Groups Design
In the between-groups design, researchers were interested in whether cholesterol levels would differ depending on diet. Twenty participants were randomly assigned to one of two different groups. Group A was assigned a diet rich in fruits and vegetables and with no trans fats. Group B participants were asked to follow their normal diets, which contained varying levels of trans fats depending on the individual. After one month, blood samples were drawn and the following levels of cholesterol were obtained:

Within-Subjects Design
In the within-subjects design, researchers were interested in whether participants could lower their cholesterol levels by changing from a diet higher in trans fats to one with no trans fats. Ten research participants were selected. A baseline measure of cholesterol was taken from each. They were then put on a diet rich in fruits and vegetables and devoid of trans fats for one month. At the end of that month, blood cholesterol was again measured, and the following results were obtained:

Milgram Study 1963

This is one of the most famous studies in the history of psychology. It was done in the early 1960s. The study was designed to determine if average people would harm another person just because an authority figure told them to do so. Read the study. Did the results surprise you? Why or why not? What did the results of this study tell you about human beings? If you were doing the study, what might you have done differently? Do you think that if the study was done today, the results would be the same? Why or why not? Did you think that this was an ethical study? Why or why not? This is an analysis that requires research beyond just reading the attached article. You must show researched support for your assertions. Please review the rubric below, which will show the requirements for a successful paper.
Just so you know, no one was actually shocked in this study. The study was completely about the people who thought they were shocking other people. The people who were supposedly being shocked were actors pretending to be shocked. The paper should be 4-5 pages and in APA format. The 4-5 pages do NOT include the title page or reference page. This is an opportunity to demonstrate solid critical thinking. The article is below.

How COVID-19 Pandemic influenced my decision to enter the nursing profession

I need a short essay 2 Pages for an application for the Nursing program. I Am not great with wording.
Especially since Ive wanted to be a nurse since I was a little gir. But the essay is for during the pandemic. I realized how much healthcare is in need of more nurses. Especially due to the burnout that nurses
faced during the pandemic. It made me want to get into the field even more. Health care is in diar need for more compassionate nurses and we have such a shortage in this country.

There is no Style specified for the essay. But would like it to be professionally written. No Sources are
required.

Alcohol abuse in the Military to cope with PTSD

Good afternoon,
Thank you for choosing to write this paper for me. There are 13 articles attached. One of the articles are not listed on my resources page. If you use that one, please site it on the resources page. There are three books highlighted on the resources page, you don’t have to worry about those, I have the information for those already. I have attached the paper instructions and hightlighted which topic I chose. As well as the rubric. If there is anything else you need, please send me an email and I will respond as quickly as possible. Thank you again.

disaster recovery

Problem Description
Following the attacks on 9/11, many online news Web sites faced an increased number of connections from people trying to know the latest development of events. This augmented traffic quickly brought nearly every news site down, and CNN.com was not immune.
On September 11, in approximately 15 minutes, CNN.com served over 132 million pages, nearly equaling the site’s all-time high. One of the biggest challenges faced by the response team was induced by cascading failures, so that increasing capacity alone was not sufficient to resurrect the site.
CNN Internet Technologies’ William LeFebvre was invited to LISA 2001 to give a talk about the effects of the 9/11 attacks on CNN’s Web site and the efforts the response team did to keep the site up and running.
Read a summary of LeFebvre’s talk at https://www.usenix.org/conference/lisa-2001/cnncom-facing-world-crisis
(Links to an external site.)
Then, using your knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity, answer the following questions:
What happened with CNN.com on September 11 2001?
From a technical point of view, what were the reasons for the problem you described on the previous question?
What did the CNN.com’s team do to minimize the impact of the problems?
Was the disaster recovery and business continuity plan effective or were the reflexive responses from the team primarily responsible for the results?
