Media Schedule and Budget
Create a media schedule and budget for
your campaign using five media tactics. You may use the five created in the
Mini-Projects and Discussion Boards (two traditional media, social media video,
direct mail, and email), create new tactics, or a combination. Use the following information to create the
documents.
Part 1 Media Schedule: 1 year (Table and List)
Create a media schedule with the
following elements:
· Create a horizontal bar graph by creating a
table. In Word, hit “Insert” then “Table”
and then “Insert Table.” When asked the
number of rows pick six (one for each tactic and an additional one for the heading. When asked for the number of columns pick five
(one for each quarter and an additional one for the heading.
· After dividing the graph using the timeframe of
1 year divided into quarters, consider your budget of $2 million, and schedule
the tactics for each quarter and what level of use (consistent, light,
moderate, and heavy).
· Indicate level of use (consistent, light,
moderate, and heavy) using colors and a color key. To add colors to your table,
right click on a black, and add shading.
Tip If you “Google” the “cost of
television commercial” you will find that one 30-second national commercial
cost over $300,000. Andrews and Shimp
(2018) report “it may cost up to $500,000 (on average) to just produce a
national TV ad campaign” (p. 372). You
may decide to change television commercials to YouTube commercials to stay
within budget. Consider what YouTube
videos your target audience watches.
Part 2 Budget: Pie Chart using $2 million
Create a budget pie chart with the
following elements:
· Create a pie chart to reflect spending plan totaling
$2 million.
· Each piece of “pie” should represent a different
media tactic.
· Include the percentages and dollar amounts of
each tactic in pie chart.
· Add 2–5% of the budget for Contingencies and
2–3% for Research & Evaluation into the pie chart.
· Make sure your numbers add up.
Tip:
Research media costs. Check out this article from AdAge on the topic: http://adage.com/article/news/costs-ad-prices-tv-mobile-billboards/297928/

Oral Speech for Stakeholders
In this scenario, you have been tasked with constructing a short speech that will need to be delivered to stakeholders of two separate organizations due
to the planning of an upcoming merger between them. The speech will be delivered by the President/CEO of the AT&T organization to top-tier executives and
upper management team members from AT&T and COM WORLD. It will be offered in efforts to promote upper level buy-in and support for the decision to enact
a corporate merger and acquisition of COM WORLD. The corporate merger will be “officially” announced in the coming weeks. However, there is much
dissention among executives, management team members, and employees at both organizations as rumors of the merger have been swirling for approximately
three months. There is strong concern at AT&T that the successful AT&T organization will be acquiring a less than successful company and assuming the
liabilities of the acquired company. COM WORLD executives are concerned for the welfare and future of their employees and the loss of the COM WORLD brand.
The speech is to inform all parties that the acquisition is a positive move and is created to prove strength in assets, privileges, customer base, and buying power.
In addition, you are to ensure all leaders that while the COM WORLD organization will be acquired and its identity dissolved, plans are to retain all employees at
both organizations at this time. There are no immediate plans to eliminate jobs at either organization. Rebranding the COM WORLD services as part of AT&T
should elevate COM WORLD’s less than successful image and help to retain disgruntled customers. The merger will provide uniformity in advertising and
marketing opportunities and increase buying power, employee knowledge, and services. Your goal is to create a speech that will create a positive vibe, dispel
rumors, and promote buy-in. The speech will be followed with a Q/A session from executives and upper management team members on both sides of the
merger. Therefore, your ability to create a speech that delivers this news in a positive manner is essential.
Consider the following critical elements as you create your speech:
– What supplemental resources have you included to support the claim made in your speech?
– Describe the two organizations and examples of strategic communication used for each
– Did you rehearse your speech aloud to ensure it lasts between three to five minutes?
Financial and Risk Management

Dada Dialogue
Write a dialogue between Marcel Duchamp and Jackson Pollock that reveals their theories or thoughts about the nature and uses of art. Include references to specific pieces by each artist and incorporate similarities as well as differences between the artists.
Conflict and Setting Paper
Write a paper of at least 1000 words analyzing conflict and setting in either on story: “The Deep” by Anthony Doerr.
This paper will be 6 paragraphs long.
The first two paragraphs should be modeled on your Central Idea Paper–the first paragraph should include a synopsis of the story and a statement of the central idea; the second paragraph should be a brief exposition of your central idea statement and an explanation of how the central idea applies to the story.
The third paragraph must begin by identifying the climax of the story and explain why this is the story’s climax. In the rest of the paragraph, you will need to discuss two conflicts (one secondary and the other primary) that produce the climax. You may want to do this by first identifying a secondary conflict, determining whether this conflict is internal or external, and then examine the ways in which this secondary conflict contributes to the primary conflict. Then you must identify whether the primary conflict is internal or external, show how the primary conflict leads to the climax, and discuss whether this conflict is resolved by the end of the story.
The fourth paragraph should discuss the importance of physical setting (for a definition please refer to the opening thread for “Setting” on the discussion board) to the story. Begin this paragraph with a sentence that establishes where the story takes place. For example, any of the following sentences structures could work:
The story is set in London at the beginning of the eighteenth century.
The story takes place in a two-bedroom apartment in modern-day Cincinnati.
The story is set in an unnamed Nigerian village towards the end of the British colonization of Africa.
After writing the sentence establishing the setting, analyze the physical setting in the story and its relationship to the central idea. Think about why the author chose this particular setting for the story. How is the physical setting described in the story? Does the author’s description of the setting shed light on any other elements (character or conflict)? Could the physical setting be symbolic in any way to what occurs in the story?
The fifth and sixth paragraphs of this paper must discuss social setting (for more information, please review the opening thread for the “Setting” discussion forum on the discussion board). In these two paragraphs of the paper, you must incorporate research that you did about the social setting of the story. You must tie this research into your understanding of the central idea of the story and how integral the social setting is to the reader’s understanding of the story. You should not look for journal articles that discuss the story itself; instead, you should research the time period/place in which the story takes place, or if you are discussing the social setting of the story, you should research the social/cultural milieu within which the story is set. For example, if the story is set in a particular country and the central idea revolves around the culturally specific roles of men and women, you may want to research particular aspects about gender roles in that country. Make sure to explicitly relate your research to specifics in the story that you choose to analyze.

American Revolution
Essay Two
Voices of the
American Revolution
In the years preceding the
Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, many American colonists expressed
opposition to Great Britain’s policies toward the colonies, but few thought
seriously about establishing an independent nation until late in the imperial
crisis. Throughout the years of controversy beginning in the 1760s, Americans
expressed a variety of opinions about the legitimacy of open acts of resistance
and rebellion, which intensified as armed resistance began in April 1775. On
both sides of the issue, perspectives and motivations were diverse. Among those
who favored resistance, for example, not all would go so far as to advocate
full-scale rebellion against Great Britain or national independence for the
United States. The debate, moreover, was not a static one, and its terms
shifted over time; by 1776 many colonists found themselves advocating positions
undreamed of a decade earlier.
In this lesson, you will work
to make informed analyses of primary documents illustrating the diversity of
religious, political, social, and economic motives behind competing
perspectives on questions of independence and rebellion. Making use of a
variety of primary texts, the activities will help you to “hear” some
of the colonial voices that, in the course of time and under the pressure of
novel ideas and events, contributed to the American Revolution.
Your assignment will be to
read ten documents from the lists below.
Each document must come from a different perspective. You should use two
documents from each group to write your essay.
You will then write a three to five page essay in which you compare and
contrast what the Revolution meant to different groups in society.
Feel free to include any
other sources, but the majority of your paper must be based on primary sources
from the time period.
You will also need to
footnote what documents you are using in Chicago Manuel style. Any word processor should help you make
footnotes. Please use the following link
to complete your footnotes in the correct style.
http://history.hanover.edu/courses/handouts/footnotes.htm
Your paper should be double
spaced and in 12 point font.

Discussion Art
1. Rococo – What are some characteristics of Rococo art and design? How does it relate to Baroque art?
2.Why were many modern artists intrigued by the possibilities of technology? Consider Constructivist projects such as Vladimir Tatlin’s model for the Monument to the Third International and the functional architecture of De Stijl and the Bauhaus. Are these works actually functional, or were their creators interested primarily in the ideas of function?
3.How are the ideas of Feminism communicated through Feminist art? Consider subject matter, media, and concepts used by these artists.

ANSWER ONE OF THE 3 QUESTIONS FROM BELOW *** USE THE READINGS FROM OPENSTAX TO ANSWER QUESTION USE TWO SOURCES FROM READING
1) You “reply” to the Discussion Forum Assignment (or the classmate’s Assignment you are commenting on) by clicking on “reply” and then scrolling down to the bottom of the page. Inside the box is where you copy and paste your response. Please post in full text—do not post as an attachment. When you are finished, please click on “post reply.” You will not have access to your classmates’ posts until you have posted your own assignment.
2) Thoroughly read all assigned text material for the module’s discussion forum assignment BEFORE submitting ANY part of your discussion assignment. If you skip this step, your posts will lack depth and will be graded, accordingly.
3) A 500-1000 word answer in standard essay form is required (i.e., traditionally, five paragraphs). Strive for depth, clarity and precision in your responses. Spell check, grammar check, and carefully proofread your answer before you post it. Remember, the quality of your contributions to discussion forums will count for about one-third of your course grade. Your writing should be formal. An introduction, body, and conclusion are expected. DO NOT exceed the word limit.
4) Plagiarism is the use of someone else’s ideas, words, creations, etc., in a manner that suggests that you are the originator. Only course materials may be cited. Citing the textbook is mandatory. Section numbers following a direct quote or a paraphrased statement(s) are required, for example: (16.3). I recommend a maximum of two direct quotes for essays of this length. Copying from the textbook and/or simply including the section number without putting quotations around the statement(s) used in assignments/critiques/exams is plagiarism. Cutting and pasting off the Internet and/or copying another classmate’s discussion forum assignment are expressly forbidden. Plagiarism will result in an “F” in the course and possible expulsion from the college.

Research on new trainers and a library of cultural competence, diversity and inclusion educational resources
Some extensive research on trainers who execute educational experiences in those areas ( cultural competence, diversity and inclusion). Not just include trainers who can deliver in-person training, but also those who can do it virtually. This means your research doesn’t have limitations based on a trainer’s location. Trainers must meet the criteria they describe so that every course we offer will be eligible for approval by the ASWB for continuing education credits.
Also get resources (academic research and credible web-based resources —links, videos, etc) what you think would be helpful for people to continue learning about cultural competence, diversity and inclusion, and equitable practices and organize it how you think it would best serve healthcare professionals (and possibly separately other professionals/ industries).
