Positive Alternative to our Present Prison System

This is a response paper to the article and the video which I will provide the link to. The idea is to have a original response after reading the article and watching the video where you find positive alternatives to our present prison system. I will also link the instrustions given. Thank you so much for your help!

Instructions given

Let’s see what you can do with this one . . . The idea is to dissect and critique the article, and to dig as deeply as you can into looking for positive alternatives to our present prison system that offers little or no true rehabilitation in place of being hotbeds of anger, violence, and high [80%; The article says 60%, but it is dated] recidivism rate. We can do better, especially with YOUR new and original thinking about these old and outdated practices.
Try to recall the Michael Moore video about the Norwegian prison system [20% recidivism rate] as contrasted with the U.S. prison system.
3-4 pages of crisp, ORIGINAL and well-argued essays, and no outside references or footnotes please. I wish to read your own critical ideas and analysis of the article.

Slide 1: Big introduction
Slide 2: Phagocytosis – gif or an animation about phagocytosis
Slide 3: Extracellular Traps – gif/animation about extracellular traps
Slide 4: Cytokines and Chemokines – maybe a figure/diagram talking about the different types?
Slide 5: Complement system – overview diagram about the ocmplement system
Slide 6: conclusion – big big overview [maybe like a summary figure of all of the slides]

While the prompt encourages you to look for “new” solutions, or solutions new to you, I didn’t mean to insinuate that the essay was to be written in first person. (“I …” or “to me.”) I went over this in class: college essays of this type are written in third person, with a more neutral tone. We assume the ideas are those of the writer. Work through the essay and take out the “to me” and “I statements.” Though, I will say that the paper flows well, and is consistent in tone.

In your second post, find a new person and “enter their feedback loop.” What new advice could you give or what point would you reinforce? Do you have any insight that would help your peer make more progress?
