Discuss which statistical tests you would use to analyze your data (you do not run the data here or list the results; you only state which tests you would use and why). Mention how variables would be coded within SPSS.

METHODS SECTION:
This section is a detailed account of the experiment design. You should first discuss your design and why you chose that over other possibilities.
Describe the participants in your study and who your population of interest would be. Also mention informed consent and how you would protect participants’ anonymity.
Make sure to identify all variables, including levels of the independent variable and dependent variable. Describe how you would manipulate the independent variable and how you would measure the dependent variable. If you intend to use a survey or ask questions, add some example questions from your survey and describe how you would measure them (list any scales you use).
Describe the procedure you would use in your experiment and data collection. Be as detailed as possible, so I would know exactly how to replicate your study if I wanted to do.
Discuss which statistical tests you would use to analyze your data (you do not run the data here or list the results; you only state which tests you would use and why). Mention how variables would be coded within SPSS.
Page Count: 3-5 pages
CONCLUSION SECTION:
Identify and discuss limitations to your design. What makes it strong? What makes it weak?
Why should this research be performed? Why is it important? Why is it relevant in todays world?
I Place my paper soo can answer the question if anything please ask me and I answer thank you.

At this point in the course, you all have learned more about at least one psychological theory or topic. Surveys are quite common in the social sciences as a means of studying a variety of these theories. This week, I want you to consider this source of quantitative data. If you were using a survey to address your psychological topic, what kinds of questions would you ask? How would you know they were truly measuring your topic?
After reading the above, provide the following information in your discussion post:
– Generate 5 survey questions and response categories that address a psychological theory or topic (it is suggested that you use the one you are focusing your paper on).
– Discuss how the questions relate to your theory or topic, and how you were test the validity of those questions.
In your responses to others, it is suggested that you comment on their survey questions and responses. Suggest additional questions or other ways to measure the topic or psychological theory.

Briefly describe the historical development of your new media technology/platform/practice in relation to your overall argument (Do not go into unnecessary detail, 1 paragraph should be enough for most technologies)

Students should select a new media technology/platform/practice and construct an academic argument around it. It needs to be a specific argument, that tells the reader something about the relationship between this new media technology/platform/practice and society more generally. Don’t just give a technological description or history. For example the argument: ‘Facebook has facilitated new forms of protest’ would be a good topic, whereas a broad history of Facebook’s technological development would fail.
The essay should do the following (it does not have to be in this order):
Briefly describe the historical development of your new media technology/platform/practice in relation to your overall argument (Do not go into unnecessary detail, 1 paragraph should be enough for most technologies)
Articulate a sophisticated academic argument about this new media technology/platform/practice
Critically analyse the cultures that surround the technology/platform/practice and explain why they are important or significant
Examine any conflicts and tensions that surround the technology/platform/practice
State why it is important to understand this new media technology/platform/practice in this way
Essays must use at least one article from the readings, and at least two from your own research.
Essays must use media studies and/or cultural studies academic texts, and develop an argument in line with these approaches. If you are unsure what this means please ask your tutor.
Essays will be submitted, marked and returned electronically via iLearn.
Assessment Criteria
Understanding of new media technology: Do you demonstrate a sophisticated academic understanding of key contexts of, and cultures surrounding, chosen new media technology
Argument: Was all academic work used directly relevant and appropriate to argument and engaged with in a sophisticated manner.
Engagement with appropriate academic material: Do you present a sophisticated integration of the case-study with relevant theory. Have you identified and made use of appropriate resources beyond those provided in the unit readings? (You must use at least one article from the readings, and at least two from your own research)
Referencing: Do you correctly reference appropriate academic sources with no formatting errors; have you built on enough sources
Style and presentation: Is your essay clearly written and presented
Use this source plus 3 other
relating sources

Argument/Thesis:
Outcry over
Violentacrez doxing shows many internet users value notion of free speech
over freedom from sexual harassment or right to privacy (for women/children
whose images he posted)
The
anonymity causes people to feel their actions online are more discrete from
(perception), and less consequential than real world actions
Violentacrez
actions and Reddits response reflect how normalised rape culture is
online
Expanding/defining
points of interest:
Normalisation: Making an idea accepted within wider society, making behaviour
excusable, upholding a status quo
Rape culture: Normalising making passes at women online + irl, the
normalisation of jokes about this behaviour, not caring about the repercussions
of making such jokes, anonymity of rape culture and its effects/what it grants
the one making the jokes
1. How a
space for anonymity allows for objectification of women
2. How jokes normalise this behaviour
3. Effect of normalisation

1. Anonymity removes the ability of a community to self police through naming
and shaming, where if someone were to make a comment that objectifies women
then it can be reasonable to assume that there would be social backlash and an
enforcement of consequence, for example social exclusion thus nipping the
behaviour in the bud, however anonymity removes this consequence.

2. Jokes made in bad faith, if accepted and not rebuffed, reinforce the idea
that if such jokes can be made in the first place then the behaviour depicted
within is also acceptable, creating a cycle of unwanted behaviour. In allowing
something as small as a simple, off colour joke to become acceptable, there is
the risk of behaviour escalating further into dangerous territory as the one
saying the jokes may perceive that there will be no consequence or that their
behaviour will in fact be defended.

3. (Already tied effect into previous sentences but uh, thats what drafts and
revisions are for)

Furthermore, platforms like reddit that normalise this kind of behaviour
provide a dangerous potential breach of the victim’s privacy while
simultaneously protecting those who participate in the posting of the victims
by discarding the consequences that would typically follow in an everyday
social setting.–> talk about “real world” effects with case
studies

Business plan

The business plan should be based on the screenshoots provided in the files. A company dashboard is required to be used.
BUSINESS REPORT
Scenario for the game
An entrepreneur, Elon Gates has bought a company that has been established for a year. During this time the foundations of the business, a decent product, a workable marketing strategy and a sound financial position has been put in place. Turnover up to now has been fair but not spectacular and the founder was operating from his own home. Elon Gates has appointed you to act as the management responsible for running the business. The business goals are to increase monthly turnover to 10,000 and monthly profit to 3,000 within 12 months.
This is the target to set in the Business Plan..
Do not change the market segment from Solo Businesses.
Requirement for the assignment
(1) (i) An initial analysis of the organisation and a business plan on how to achieve the required target. A monthly cash budget should be provided along with a budgeted Statement of Profit or Loss covering a 12 month period.
You should produce:
(ii) A monthly reporting package which contains information used each month to help them make decisions.
You need to identify 16 items in total, 4 from each of
Sales and Marketing;
Operations;
Organisations:
Finance.
As a minimum, you should consider the Statement of Profit or Loss for the business each month. The package should include an explanation of how each item of information is used, for example, number of orders placed used to judge the success of marketing undertaken. Note that the reporting package may contain financial, marketing, operational or other information. The actual data for the business for each month does not have to be given, just details of the main items considered and why they are important.

Briefly explain what a person who is hurt by a product must prove against the defendant under the negligence doctrine of product liability. Is everyone in the chain of distribution liable to the plaintiff under this theory?

1/ “According to the textbook, there are three types of torts intentional torts, negligent torts and strict liability torts. To successfully sue a defendant for an intentional tort (assault, defamation etc.) the plaintiff must prove that the “defendant possessed the intent to do the act that caused the plaintiff’s injury” (Cheeseman, page 95.) Under strict liability, “a participant in a covered activity is liable for any injuries caused by that activity, even if he or she is not negligent.” (Cheeseman, page 111).
Briefly explain the five (5) things the plaintiff must prove to be successful in a negligence tort case. ( A list without additional explanation will receive only a small portion of the available points).”
2/ “A defendant in a tort lawsuit may claim he/she is not liable for the plaintiff’s injuries because the plaintiff’s own negligence caused his/her own injuries. Explain how each of the following standards is applied to the defendant’s liability in a tort case.
a. Contributory negligence
b. Pure comparative negligence
c. Partial comparative negligence”
3/” Briefly explain what a person who is hurt by a product must prove against the defendant under the negligence doctrine of product liability. Is everyone in the chain of distribution liable to the plaintiff under this theory? Why is it difficult for a plaintiff to prove a negligence product liability case? (Note: This question refers specifically to a negligence product liability suit. This is not exactly the same as the response for Question 1.”
4/ ” Briefly explain what the plaintiff must prove if he/she is injured by a product and he/she choses to sue under the misrepresentation doctrine? Is the person or business who misrepresented the product liable to everyone who is injured by the product? If not who is he/she liable to?”
5/ “The doctrine of strict liability removes many of the difficulties for the plaintiff associated with negligence and misrepresentation. For strict liability, product liability answer the following questions:
1. Is the plaintiff required to prove anyone was negligent?
2. Is the manufacturer of the product the only one that may be liable to an injured plaintiff? Explain.
3. The plaintiff must prove that the products was defective. Explain three ways (discussed in your textbook) that a product may be defective.
4. Many sellers will avoid liability for a defective product by selling the product “as is.” This is called a disclaimer. Can strict liability be disclaimed?”
