Introduction
Nursing training is rigorous, as it aims to produce professionals who can make independent decisions in providing nursing solutions. The training includes diagnosis and treatment interventions, ethical values relating to the rights of facilitating individuals and groups in pursuit of health and community and hospital health services, and the ability to conduct reliable nursing studies in nursing practice (Muñoz-Rubilar et al., 2020). Additionally, nurses are trained in diligent care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses, providing palliative care, educating patients, facilitating discharge planning, and health maintenance. I have learned significant factors of comprehensive patient care, evidence-based health care, infants-caregiver attachment theories, and caregiver role strain.
In this course, the comprehensive patient care has been integral in advancing my knowledge on how comfort and peace of mind among clinical officers, patients, and their relatives is important. Accordingly, the nurse does not only concentrate on primary treatment involving infection diagnosis and administration of drugs. Nurses are expected to care for patients’ social, emotional, psycho-spiritual, cultural, and physical needs. Patients are flattered when nurses treat them with decorum and respect (Muñoz-Rubilar et al., 2020). For instance, in the course of treatment, a nurse should encourage patients and update them on treatment progress. The hygiene of the treatment environment equally contributes to comprehensive healthcare and promotes comfort and ease of recovery. Concisely, the rate of healing and quality perception is not only a subject of primary diagnosis and treatment. Patient satisfaction is achieved when nurses respond to their vast needs and balance them accordingly.
Evidence-based care has been the mantle of the nursing curriculum from the beginning. In the modern world, healthcare faces many dynamics, including technology and lifestyle. Many diseases are evolving, and the need for patient-focused health care is intensifying. Evidence-based care encourages nurses to provide treatment intervention based on the symptoms relied on an individual and diagnosis results (Karlsen et al., 2022). Evidence-based practice is effective as a clinical officer analyzes diagnosis data in depth in making informed treatment decisions. Therefore, errors that may cause adverse patient conditions are minimized.
During the course, attachment theory developed by John Bowlby showed me how nurses understand the factors contributing to the emotional attachment between the caregiver and infants, improving infant care. Knowledge of attachment theory positions nurses at an advantage in advising mothers on the best infant care behaviours. Often, infants may suffer due to poor parenting in terms of responsiveness to their needs and weak psychological connection with the caregivers. Nurses effectively educate caregivers on health behaviours to build a strong emotional bond with their infants and instil a sense of security.
In a nutshell, the success of nursing professionals depends on the quality of education, exposure, and comparative knowledge in health-related topics. Nurses learn progressively throughout their profession as the healthcare system is subject to radical transformation powered by technology and changing lifestyles. All these aspects factors have been important and enhanced my learning experience.

Summary And Citation

This week’s activity is designed to help you continue working with APA formatting style and to demonstrate your knowledge on the articles you are reading this week. Your first step is to read two of the three provided sources:

Topic 1: Why Don’t People Vote? “Global Voter Turnout Has Been in Decline Since the 1960s – We Wanted to Find Out Why (Links to an external site.),” by Filip Kostelka and Andre Blais.
Topic 2: Can Artificial Intelligence Help the Nursing Field? “Hospital Robots are Helping Combat a Wave of Nurse Burnout (Links to an external site.),” by Khari Johnson.
Topic 3: What Should be Done About the Mental Health Crisis? “Is Mental Health Stigma Decreasing? It’s Complicated (Links to an external site.),” by Noam Shpancer.Part 1: Create an APA reference for each source

Refer to the APA Resource Module for assistance in constructing proper references. Here, you need to create the full reference that would appear on the References page of your essay.

Part 2: Summarize each source

Using summary skills, write a one-paragraph summary of each source. In the summary, present only the main ideas found within the text. Remember – summaries should be written in your own words. This part of the assignment should be completed in paragraph format—no numbers or bullet points (4-6 sentences).

Format:

Open a new document in Microsoft Word and use Times New Roman, 12-point font.  Double-space the entire document.
Begin with the APA reference (Part 1) and be sure to use a hanging indent for the second and each additional line of the reference.  Then, starting on a new line, begin your source summary paragraph (Part 2).
Be sure to complete this activity for both sources in a single document.

Social Control and Morality Paper

Make sure you understand the Milgram experiment (1975) from this week’s readings and then:
Read the following article: Four Decades After Milgram, We’re Still Willing to Inflict Pain Download Four Decades After Milgram, We’re Still Willing to Inflict Pain
If you are comfortable participating in the Morality Sense Test online, go to the following link and click “Start” (Links to an external site.) to participate.
(If you are not comfortable taking the survey, assess your own morals in terms of a social issue. An example might be the death penalty and thinking about where you stand and why. Consider your views in different situations such as being on a jury where this decision had to be made or having a family member awaiting sentencing where this is a possibility, etc.)
Finally, write a two-page paper in APA Style that discusses your test results or your general thoughts about your own morals. Relate your discussion to both the Milgram experiment and the NY Times article perspective.
Compare and contrast your morals to what you believe are those of the general population. Incorporate any applicable sociological terms that were covered in this week’s materials.

Exponents and Polynomials in the Real World

Initial Post The use of complex math, including exponents, is instrumental in many fields. Exponents are used in
scientific, financial, and economic applications. Such math is also used to solve problems and make
predictions in your personal life as well. One important formula that requires the understanding of exponents is the present value formula. Present value, PV, is a widely used formula that calculates the present day value of an amount that is received at a future date.
The Present Value Formula is PV = FV/〖(1+r)〗^n ,where PV is the present value that will amount to
FV dollars in n years at interest rate r compounded annually.
For the initial post, think of something you want or need that has a future cost between $5,000 and $90,0000. For example, maybe you want to save up for your child’s college education or maybe you
want to save for a cabin on the lake. Assume you have an investment, which provides between 6% and 11% interest compounded annually, and you want to purchase your desired item in 15 years. What is the present value? In other words, how much money do you need to invest today?
Include the following in your discussion:
State the FV or cost of the desired item in n = 15 years.
State he interest rate, r, you will earn on your investment (use an annual rate between 6% and 11%).
Set up the formula and solve for the present value, PV, showing all work.
