The ‘Don’ts’ of Summarizing Self Check

Step One:
Take a look at the below poorly crafted summary of the film “John Wick.”
In the film John Wick, Keanu Reeves takes matters into his own hands after his dog is murdered and his car is stolen. It was terrible what happened to him. Luckily, he’s actually a retired hit man, and seeks vengeance on the Russian mobsters who caused his grief. There’s also a female assassin who tries to stop him along the way but doesn’t succeed. As the poster says, “Don’t set him off.” He ultimately gets his revenge, which makes the film worth it.

Step Two:
Write 2-3 paragraphs explaining what aspects of the summary are weak and/or inappropriate for a summary, and what can be done to improve it.

Your document should:
Be 12 pt, Times New Roman font, 1-inch margins, and double spaced.
Consist of paragraphs that are at least 3-4 sentences each.
Be saved and submitted as a Word document (either .doc or .docx).

1.
Discuss the following in an essay format of at least 1,000 words and using at least three scholarly sources:
Define and describe the major literary forms (genres) contained in the New Testament. Which part of the New Testament was written first? Who was the author and when did he write?

Why are Matthew, Mark, and Luke called the Synoptic Gospels? Define Synoptic and explain its application to the first three Gospels.
According to the Synoptic accounts, what were Jesus’ characteristic modes of teaching?

Imagine, you have been called to give a special presentation.

Research and wrtie 4 pages. Teacher does not want more then 4 pages so please only write 4 pages.

Part 1:
Imagine, you have been called to give a special presentation. You know that in the past social, economic, and political problems have been addressed by social movements–ordinary people who organize themselves and wage struggles (campaigns) for change. During this presentation you must identify the three major issues facing working-class people in the United States.

Discuss:
How do these issues affect working-class communities in general, AND how they affect working-class communities of Color?
In what way do you see these issues as related to past historical social problems that were discussed throughout the course?

Part 2:
You must also identify 1 existing social movement and/or political organization that is currently engaged in struggle to address the three issues that you identified.

Discuss:
their approach to change, and discuss what you think they need to do in order to create a more socially just country. How will such organizations help working-class people in general and working-class communities?
Who does the organization represent? Who are its members?
What does the organization do? What issues does it address? Do you think it can and should do more?
How is the organization structured?

For this final assignment you will need to do a little research. You can use any of the material provided during this class. You will also need to search for additional information.

Examples of kinds of organizations:
Political parties
Labor unions
Community organizations
Student organizations
Associations
Some Resources (there are many many more out there). These are some popular resources that I use. These are “left-wing” and “progressive” resources. Because we are talking about social justice, resources are always classified as “left” and “progressive”. You do not need to use these resources. I am just providing them as courtesy.

Systems-Based Practice

Systems-based practice in nursing involves patient care from a wider perspective and requires practitioners to “demonstrate an awareness of and responsiveness to the larger context and system of health care, as well as the ability to call effectively on other resources in the system to provide optimal health care” (University of Maryland Medical Center, 2022). This approach includes special attention to cost awareness, risk-benefit analysis, patient care quality advocacy, inter-professional teamwork, system error identification, and developing and implementing systems solutions.

Develop a scholarly paper that addresses the following criteria:
1. Cost Awareness
2. Risk-benefit analysis
3. Patient care quality advocacy
4. Inter-professional teamwork
5. System error identification
6. Developing and implementing systems solutions

7. Questions to consider:
a. How can I improve the care for my patients?
b. How can I improve the system of care?
c. How would you identify and prioritize change?

8. The scholarly paper should be:
a. 4 to 6 pages, excluding the title and reference page.
b. Include an introductory paragraph, purpose statement, and a conclusion.
c. Include level 1 and 2 headings to organize the paper.
d. Write the paper in the third person, not the first person (meaning do not use ‘we’ or ‘I’) and in a scholarly manner. To
clarify: I, we, you, me, our is not used. In addition, describing yourself as the researcher or the author should not be used.
e. Include a minimum of three (2) peer-reviewed scholarly journal references to support the paper.

Kinesiology – Stress Management for healthy living

Pretty much i need you to paraphrase an assignment for 6 different chapters.
You may change the answer more to make less similar to the reference, or even answer the question individually.

That would be a study guide questions, discussion questions, and activity quesitons. For chapters 1-6.
I have reference answer for study guide questions only.

Speech on paper-presentation

I just need a speech written that I can follow as I record myself presenting it. So I need it broken down into bullet points. My speech will be given to a middle school and needs to be written as if I am presenting to the students. It needs to address all of the following: The local area to research is Houston, Texas.
Identify a local environmental challenge.
Summarize the local environmental challenge. Support your summary with at least 2 sources from the University Library, reputable environmental groups, or government websites.
Explain why this challenge is relevant to the middle school class. Remember that while it is important to be honest with children about the realities of the health of the environment, be sure not to scare them. Focus on why it should be important to them, and that they can take action to help.
Identify any local regulations or policies that have been created in response to this challenge. Remember, the purpose of this presentation is to help the students think about how they can change their behavior, not to teach them about regulations. Only mention the regulations so that students can understand how society has used regulations to change behavior. Do not spend too much time explaining details of the regulations to the students.
Recommend 3 sustainable actions the middle school students can do in response to this challenge to help.
