Consider the impact made on music by adding visual effects like acting, dancing, and narrative to the performance.
Pick your favorite music video from this week’s playlist, or another video from the same time period, and make a video post about how the addition of dance, acting, costumes, makeup, a story line etc. change the impact of the musical performance. Does it enhance? Does it distract?
You can either submit the video or a link to the video. During Week 2, you read a substantive chapter regarding ethical issues in research. Hilton et al. (2020) provided an overview and stated, “Seven basic ethical issues arise in social science research: informed consent, deception, privacy (including confidentiality and anonymity), physical or mental distress, problems in sponsored research, scientific misconduct or fraud, and scientific advocacy” (p. 64). You were already familiar with these concepts from your MS program and enrollment in HMSV5320 (Ethical Practice in Human Services). You are passionate about the field of human services, well-acquainted with the National Organization for Human Services (NOHS) Ethical Standards for Human Services Professionals and confident in your ethical behavior.
