· This course has been an overview of the traditional building materials and methods used in construction. We are currently seeing a surge in non-traditional building materials and methods. A few of these materials include; straw bales, rammed earth-tires, shipping containers, recycled plastics, cob, heavy timber high-rise construction, and tiny homes to name a few.
