Assessment Description
The needs of the pediatric patient differ depending on age, as do the stages of development and the expected assessment findings for each stage. In a 500-750-word paper, examine the needs of a school-aged child between the ages of 5 and 12 years old and discuss the following:
Compare the physical assessments among school-aged children. Describe how you would modify assessment techniques to match the age and developmental stage of the child.
Choose a child between the ages of 5 and 12 years old. Identify the age of the child and describe the typical developmental stages of children that age.
Applying developmental theory based on Erickson, Piaget, or Kohlberg, explain how you would developmentally assess the child. Include how you would offer explanations during the assessment, strategies you would use to gain cooperation, and potential findings from the assessment.

Romanesque vs Gothic Architecture

Romanesque vs Gothic Architecture
The invention of the Gothic vault –
promoted by the forward-looking cleric, Abbot Suger (pronounced “sue
jay,” in French) – allowed for a profound new experience of
ecclesiastical architecture, bringing together elements of space, light,
and faith. This church, dedicated to Saint-Denis (“day knee”), was
dedicated in June of 1144 – The first full example of the Gothic
architectural style.
Incidentally, the “Gothic” label was not used during the High Middle Ages. Instead, Suger and others borrowed from Latin, “Opus Francigenum,” literally, “the work created in France”.

This assignment asks you compare and contrast these two architectural types, the Gothic and the Romanesque.
READ: From the OER Text, “Gothic”
VIEW: “Romanesque vs. Gothic Architecture,” YouTube video (ca. 4 minutes). Click below:

PROMPT:
“As clearly and fully as possible – and using the appropriate technical terms
– account for both similarities and differences between Romanesque and
Gothic architecture.” (Minimum 250 words, equivalent to a
double-spaced, single page of text).
I expect you will put forward your
best effort as we move toward the end of the class. Include as much
information as you can. Write as though your grade depended on it!

Choose one of the two possible topics in the Final Paper Prompt and research it.

_ Choose one of the two possible topics in the Final Paper Prompt and research it. This can mean searching for a range of phrae related to the topic in a standard search engine and looking in the library database.
Topics: 1. Disinformation about Covid vaccines (find and critically analyze examples of disinformation, along with credible articles on the subject)
2. Political disinformation campaigns (again, find and critically analyze examples of the disinformation itself, along with credible articles on the subject). You will want to narrow this one down to a specific political topic.
_Find five articles on the topic and create an Annotated Bibliography listing them alphabetically in proper MLA style Works Cited format each followed by a paragraph evaluating the article.
_There is no requirement that the sources be academic or peer reviewed. However, you are absolutely required to evaluate your sources using your critical thinking skills (and the CRAAP test). That is the point of this assignment.
* Remember, your final paper is not a report, but a critical analysis of the articles you use. For this reason, some of your articles may not be credible at all; they may be examples of the type of disinformation you’re researching.
You will be using these sources in your Final Paper, taking into account feedback that you get on this assignment. You might be asked to find other sources if I deem them off-topic.
Format
Please follow the format outlined on OWL Purdue for an Annotated Bibliography:
https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/general_writing/common_writing_assignments/annotated_bibliographies/annotated_bibliography_samples.html
You’ll see that it is composed of Works Cited style entries, each followed by a paragraph of summary & then a paragraph evaluating the article according to how it will fit into your own argument and according to criteria of critical thinking.

Turnitin plagiarism tool. The tool is a starting point for instructors to check
overall Academic Integrity and higher scores generally indicate a higher
probability of Academic Misconduct. The higher a score the higher the
probability that there are too high a percentage of quotations included in the
narrative, and/or there are passages that have not been properly cited.

Community Organization deliverable – Bayview Hunter’s Point

** Please elaborate and extend paragraphs below.
Please focus on B) stressors/gentrification/health disparities/income inequality & highlight added work.

A Public Health Emergency
Bayview Hunters Point is home to a community that carries most of the burden of San Francisco’s pollution. Located in southeast San Francisco, residents are surrounded by considerable environmental threats, including a superfund site known as the US Navy’s Hunters Point Naval Shipyard. The EPA designated Hunters Point as a Superfund site in 1989. Despite being ranked high enough in toxic contamination to be included on the National Priorities List, it has not been designated. Activities led by The United States Naval Radiological Defense Laboratory (NRDL) caused significant radiological contamination. Beyond the shipyard, BVHP is surrounded by heavy industry and a stadium parking lot that causes urban and industrial pollution through direct runoff and groundwater interactions. A century’s worth of waste dumping and sewage in Yosemite Slough also threatens the community’s water quality. Furthermore, the health of residents and the surrounding environment are disproportionately affected. Current clean up approaches are not sufficient. Due to clean up effort stagnation towards the superfund site and surrounding area, residents of BVHP demand reasonable action in protecting the health of the community.

The Location of Yosemite Slough
Yosemite slough is a shallow water channel situated between Hunters Point Naval Shipyard (HPNS) (EPA Superfund site) and Candlestick Point. Depending on the tide, the channel’s sediment can be left uncovered, or covered with three to five feet of water.

Health Risks and Outcomes
The EPA has identified unsafe levels of chemicals in the mud and water of Yosemite Slough. Harmful chemicals such as lead and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) cause health effects.

Pollution of BVHP plays a significant role in contributing to health problems of members of the community. Past case studies by the San Francisco Health Department reported elevated rates of asthma, diabetes, and several cancers among Bayview Hunters Point residents (Mori, 1997). Asthma is a serious health concern for BVHP residents, 10% of residents reporting having asthma. One in six kids with asthma. A rate of birth defects, 44.3 per 1,000 births, much higher than the 33.1 per 1,000 countywide. Infant mortality rates 2.5 times higher than the rest of San Francisco’s. According to the BAAQMD, 20 known air pollutants were found in BVHP.

Studies have shown a correlation between urine toxin screening and radiation pollution from Hunters Point. Results showed 30 residents and workers have detected one or more elements in toxic concentrations documented to be present at the Slough.
Community Profile: The people of Bayview Hunters Point
Bay-views Hunter Point is the merging of two neighborhoods in the Southeastern corner of San Francisco: Bayviews and Hunters Point. Bayviews Hunter Point is the most ethnically and economically diverse neighborhood in San Francisco, with a growing population. According to the 2010 U.S. Census, Bayview–Hunters Point (ZIP 94124) had a population of 33,996, with 33.7% African-American. African-Americans make up the largest ethnic group among residents.

A study by the PHI in 2002 showed that BVHP had the most families in San Francisco living below the poverty line. Poor neighborhoods are at a higher risk of pollution and poor housing can exacerbate preexisting health conditions.

B) stressors/gentrification/health disparities/income inequality

Lack of institutional outreach – how can support be identified.
Housing issue
Housing prices have increased
Casted doubt on the city’s ability to meet goals for housing development.
Stop the development of building on top of the superfund site – end administrative complacency

Write about the quotation means and why it is important to the play as a whole.

In the
play A Doll House. You must select one short quotation that you feel is
important to the theme of the play as a whole1-3 lines. Write about the
quotation means and why it is important to the play as a whole. To
organize your essay, you might make a list of 3-5 reasons your quotation is
important and devote a body paragraph to each reason. Or you might show what
your quotation reveals about different parts of the play, perhaps the
beginning, middle, and end. Or you might show how your quotation relates to
several of the characters in the play. You will need to quote from and analyze
several sections of the play as you discuss your chosen quotation.
Cite the play you have chosen to write on using MLA format

Organize information using tables and graphs where appropriate. All tables and graphs should be clearly labeled and discussed.

Objective
The purpose of this assignment is to attempt applying the concepts learned in the course to the real data. The successful assignment should contain two components: (1) use real (historical) data, (2) apply the data to one or a few concepts/models we learned in the course.Do not try to be too ambitious! I do not expect you to write a Master’s Thesis. I just want you to try applying what you learned in class to real data. This is hard enough. One way to approach the assignment can be replicating one of the assignments we did in Excel projects (one numbered question from that project would be enough). Or come up with your own application.
Format
This is an individual assignment.
The length of a final paper should be no more than 4-6 pages (double spaced, including title page).
The paper should contain a title page with your name and brief title/description of your work.
This assignment must include data analysis. Briefly describe the methodology and data you used in your calculations. Interpret the results, relating them to the material we covered in the course.
Organize information using tables and graphs where appropriate. All tables and graphs should be clearly labeled and discussed.

Financial Securities Analysis

Module Title:
Financial
Securities Analysis

Coursework 1

Part 1
You have taken a management position in Ocean
Cuisines plc that just went public last year. The company’s restaurants
specialize in seafood dishes. A concern you had was that the restaurant
business is risky.
During your interview process, one of the
benefits you heard was employee stock option. Upon signing your employment
contract, you obtained options with a strike price of £65 for 10,000 shares of
company stock. As is fairly common, your
stock options have a three-year vesting period and a 10-year expiration,
meaning that you cannot exercise the options for a period of three years and
you lose them if you leave before they vest. So, your employee stock options
are European for the first three years and American afterward. You cannot sell
the option nor can you enter into any sort of hedging. Ocean Cuisines is
currently trading at £40 per share, a slight increase from the initial offering
price last year. You estimated that the annual average standard deviation for
restaurant company stock is 20 percent. Since Ocean Cuisines is a new
restaurant chain you decide to use a 25percent standard deviation in your
calculations. You expect no dividends will be paid for the next 10 years. A
three-year Treasury note currently has a yield of 3.4% and 10-year Treasury
note has an yield of 6%.

1. Suppose that in
three years, company’s stock is trading at £55. At that time, should you keep
the options or exercise immediately? What are some of the important
determinants in making such a decision? 30marks
2. You are trying to
value your option. What minimum value would you assign? What is the maximum
value you would assign? 10
marks

Grade
Assessments
The coursework must be your work and in your words. Avoid plagiarism
and copying from a colleague. When utilising books and journal articles make
sure that you reference the authors correctly. Failure to do this will be
penalised. A copy of a guide to using the Harvard referencing system is available
on GCU Learn.

Quality
The questions will
be graded with reference to certain criteria, which include:
• an ability to show
an understanding of the question
• an ability to use
the correct theoretical and applied material
• an ability to make
linkages with other topics covered in the module i.e. not answering the
question in isolation
• utilising your
research into a logical and coherent answer

Therefore, an answer that receives a distinction would show an
appreciation and understanding of a wide array of literature and use it in an
applied manner. It would cover all aspects of the question in a coherent and
logical way and have no significant mistakes. A merit would show the above
characteristics but would fail to answer all aspects of the question, have some
minor mistakes and would fail to utilise as broad a literature base. To gain
either of these grades, students should show more than blind regurgitation,
utilising the relevant theories presented in the literature to give a clear
precise answer.
A pass at this level will show an understanding of the question, but
will have omissions and some errors. It will not use or apply the theories as
thoroughly but it will still show that the student can utilise the relevant
material to answer the question.
A fail will show a misunderstanding of the concepts presented in the
module and fail to answer the question with the relevant theories from the
literature. You are advised to work on structuring their essays before handing
in any work – devise plans and highlight the relevant sections in any
literature they read. Badly structured and poorly written answers will be
penalised.
Presentation
The way in which the
Coursework are presented is important. The format must be:-
