Copywriters often are asked to develop slogans for a product or service. They are also asked to create jingles or memorable characters. You can choose to answer one of the two questions below:
1) Do you think that jingles are effective? Why did we stop using them as much?
OR
2) Do you think that mascots, such as the Geico Geiko, are effective in selling? They eventually got rid of the Taco Bell Chihuahua, as it was not selling effectively. What are your thoughts?

Based on further inquiry on a topic from reading reflections, good papers will be well researched and crafted. While there exists no minimum requirement for the number of scholarly sources, research should be focused and well communicated. Generally, some of the best papers of this type involve at least 3 books and 5 journal articles. The writing style should not take away from the reader’s ability to understand what the author is trying to say. Most importantly, the finest papers reflect critical thought. This means that the author looks at various perspectives analytically and makes a reasoned argument—not a polemic—that reflects depth in thought instead of mere statements of belief that are not sustained in the texts. Papers that ask good questions and discover creative ways of putting forth an argument will be viewed most favorably. Papers must shed more light on a particular aspect of the topic chosen for the reading reflection (excluding the first week’s introduction) and may not simply involve regurgitation. You may take an argument and review it—surveying divergent perspectives—or you may formulate an informed opinion on a single issue. The central purpose of this writing activity is to allow you to explore perspectives on issues that transcend the in-class texts. Your grade is based on your ability to think critically, which includes looking at various sides of an issue, actively thinking of alternative ways to perceive a problem, and utilizing research sources to understand a perspective. Now, I understand that you could only do so much in the allowed number of pages. However, you could compose either a few pages of pearls or many pages of garbage. I demand the former, and will not settle for the latter. I know that every member of this course is capable of at worst satisfying my expectations and best dazzling me with her/his insights. All papers must be 10-25 pages, written in standard 12-point font, double-spaced, stapled, and numbered. Late/e-mailed paper submissions will not be accepted.

A Risk Reduction Seminar

Identify a health risk teaching topic.
Choose a teaching topic related to a health risk. For example, you could choose heart disease, breast cancer, type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), cervical cancer, hyperlipidemia, melanoma, or another health risk.

Step 2:
Research the ways to reduce this health risk.
Using nursing texts, medical resources, nursing journals, and reputable Internet sources, create a list of lifestyle habits and changes that reduce this health risk and promote health.

Step 3:
Write a one- to two-page (250- to 500-word) educational activity plan written in APA 7.0 formatting style, focused on reducing this health risk.
Be sure to cite all the sources you use in the completion of this assignment and include a reference list.
Using the nursing process as a guide, develop an educational activity focused on strategies to reduce a specific health risk. Be sure to discuss challenges uniquely associated with promoting health and preventing disease related to this particular health risk. While all steps of the nursing process must be addressed, the primary focus of this assignment is the “planning” step. Support your plan with resources/citations.

Step 4 Describe the plan.
Create a document that describes the plan for the educational activity as follows:
Assessment
Health risk
Diagnosis
Knowledge deficit related to the identified health risk
Planning
Title of educational program (based on your assessment and diagnosis)
Target audience: (for example, patients/families or nurses)
Learning outcomes (the goals of the educational program)
Teaching strategies (for example, discussion, lecture, video clips, Q & A)
The educational activity (a plan)
Implementation
The educational activity (propose when/where/how long, but do not carry out the activity).
Evaluation
How you will assess the extent to which the learning outcomes were met
Resources
A list of resources/citations that substantiate the health risk and support your educational activity plan

How does positive and negative emotion stimuli affect the lexical decision task?

Hello,

I am writing a research paper in experimental Psychology and I need help writing quality 3 page intro. I have a structure requirments and sources to choose from. Here is the structure:

Introduction:
STRUCTURE: General to Specific
Lays out the topic and
research question of the study
Describes the theory or constructs being studied
Describes RELEVANT past research with the variables.
Poses the hypotheses or goals of the study
More explanation:

– should begin with a very general introduction to the problem area – then start to narrow by citing the results of prior works that have been conducted in the area and that bear on the specific issue that you are investigating (journal articles we gonna use)
• a statement of the variables to be investigated
• then state the purpose of your study and your hypothesis: The purpose of my study is to find out: How does positive and negative emotion stimuli affect the lexical decision task? Hypothesys: Because emotional stimuli affect cognitive abilities for example such as performing lexical decision task. Because of this we make a hypothesys that there will be difference in accuracy on the lexical decision task between the negative and positive emotion stimuli. Also response time on three word factor( related, unrelated and nonword) of participants will be different
• should give the reader the rationale for the given investigation • explain how the current study fits in with prior research. Here we need to explain how our finding in the abstract fit in with the info from journals.

But read the abstract- our own experiment showed no significant difference. Some articles in Journas show different results. We need to explain and combain it.

Here is Abstract of my paper:

How does positive and negative emotion stimulus affect the lexical decision task? In this study we compare two groups of participants (N=124) that were exposed to two different emotion stimuli prior to participating in the lexical decision task. One group of 61 people saw a positive emotion stimulus, and the second group of 63 people saw a negative emotion stimulus. After they needed to create a story about those stimuli and proceed to doing an online lexical decision task. The lexical decision task consisted of three groups of words: related, unrelated and nonwords, and every participant got tested in all three of these word factors. Our data suggests that there was no significant difference in accuracy scores between positive and negative emotion stimulus groups. There was also no difference in response time to related and unrelated words. The difference in response time was between nonword versus related and unrelated words.

In the attached file there a paper with Professors comments. Please study what she exactly wants from her comments on that paper’s introduction!!!

Some Journal Articles, but you are free to add yours: 3 articles should be about emotional stimuli and 2 on lexical decision task:

Anthropocene

Paper #2 Topic
Type a 10-page paper (the works-cited list is page 11) in which you explain core concepts of Earth System Science and demonstrate how, in one particular way, your major connects to Earth System Science and can contribute to stabilizing the Earth System. Besides Earth System Science, use five relevant and reliable sources from a PCC Shatford Library database and two optional sources from other places.

MAJOR: Administration of Justice

Paper #2 Outline
Page 1, first half: Intro + thesis
Pages .5-4: Explain core concepts of Earth System Science
Pages 2nd half of page 1 to the end of page 2
Gaia, Lovelock, and thus invented what became Earth System Science (chapter 1)
Earth System
Positive and Negative Feed Back Loops (chapter 2)
what are they, PFBLs & NFBLs
what is a biogeochemical cycle
the ES is a set of biogeochemical cycles, for example oxygen cycle
Page 3
Regulation (chapter 3)
Topic Sentence: Through NFBLs, the regulation of the biogeochemical cycles that make up the Earth System balances and maintains a particular state of the Earth System.
Evidence/example
For example, through the bathtub analogy, the regulation of the oxygen cycle becomes clear.
explain evidence/example
explain bathtub analogy to clarify the concept of regulation–water level kept from getting either too low or too high
explain how, in the oxygen cycle, NFBLs keep the O2 level from getting either too low or too high
sweet spot 17%-25 to 30% for the last 370 million years–this is the balance
too low? an ocean-based NFBL kicks in which the decrease in O2 in the oceans triggers an increase in organic carbon burial, which increases atmospheric O2 levels
too high? a land-based NFBL kicks in by which fire burns vegetation, preventing the burial of that organic carbon
Revolution (chapter 4)
Topic Sentence: A revolution of the Earth System happens when PFBLs disrupt a particular state of the Earth System and its biogeochemical cycles and an example is ___.
